Oven Pride...Fantastic! You just bung all the shelves in a large bag (provided in the box), pour half the liquid in, and seal....leave it over night, turn it once or twice as you pass and everything just rinses away! Use the other half on the actual oven, but I would recomend your own gloves as the ones they provide are a bit flimsy.
Did mine a couple of days ago and it looks like new. Cost £4 in Home and Bargains, or around £5 in Tesco and is worth every penny!
Just feel embarressed I let my oven get into such a state now!Right now I'm having amnesia and deja- vu at the same time. I think I've forgotten this before0 -
Hi,
The one from Lakeland is a gel you just paint on. Wonderful stuff!! Can't recommend it enough.

Have tried Star drops but that doesnt work alone.Failure is only someone elses judgement.

I try to do mine frequently, so that the cakk doesn't build up, but if it does, an overnight with Mr Muscle oven cleaner does the job for me
As this has fallen from the front page of OS, I'll add it to the exisitng thread to give you more suggestions.:rudolf: Sheep, pigs, hens and bees on our Teesdale smallholding :rudolf:0 -

Update on the ovenpride...it has returned my glass oven door to new, there is not 1 single mark left on it,and my rack has returned to its original shiny silver colour...I cannot believe it,this stuff is amazing.(I ended up letting my stuff soak overnight...i think thats why it was so effective)Slimming World..Wk1,..STS,..Wk2,..-2LB,..Wk3,..-3.5lb,..Wk4,..-2.5,..Wk5,..-1/2lb,Wk6,..STS,..Wk7,..-1lb.

My oven is an absolute nightmare to clean so am looking for some tips please ladies. I live abroad so I don't think the pro oven cleaners are an option (but definitely worth looking into!). The oven has exposed upper and lower elements meaning that I cannot clean it whilst it's hot without burning my hands off and also that its difficult to clean between the elements. Any ideas please?0
