cleaning the oven

Some people recommend soaking all removable trays in the bath overnight with a solution of bio washing powder and water. Would like to try this but am worried about it damaging the surface of the bath.
Can anyone reassure me please?0 -
Definately Ovenmate, Available Throught Betterware Or Kleeneze But Expensive, If You Are A Member At Costco Two For Under A Tenner. Excellent.0

I like the Ovenmate too. It seems expensive, but the bottle lasts a long time and cleans an average size cooker many times. Most other products, including the Mr Muscle foam only clean the cooker once, so work out more expensive in the long term.
Ovenmate also cleans the cooker very well, isn't too messy and doesn't smell much. Most oven cleaners make my asthma terrible. I've also had some that simply didn't work.
I didn't like the included brush however, but found an old paintbrush from a DIY store worked much better.0 -
Ovenmate, It simply melts off the grime, just be sure to wear rubber gloves when using it as it does burn if it gets on your skin.0

Oven Pride is a pound off in Wilco's at the moment - making it £2.99.0

Aldi special's from 30th march include oven pride for £2.49.
I'm just been emailed there weekly flyer below
http://www.aldi.co.uk/uk/html/offers/offers_week14sunday08.htmLets get this straight. Say my house is worth £100K, it drops £20K and I complain but I should not complain when I actually pay £200K via a mortgage:rolleyes:0 -
But dont you think the idea of a large plastic bag for the racks
is wonderful.
My racks dont fit insde the sink.
No, it split and leaked everywhere. Absolutely useless. Mine don't fit in the sink but they fit easily in the bath! Oh and you can get a tray to clean them in.One day I might be more organised...........
GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb0 -
I have an electric cooker with a small oven, which isn't too dirty apart from pizza cheese on the bottom. Just wondering, instead of using the usual oven cleaner sprays which end up in your lungs etc, is there anything along the lines of soda crystals or something os which would work? It's not a greazy oven but is becoming a bit smoky when its heating now lol. Thanks in advance folks x.:T0
