I use Genuine Mr Muscle oven cleaner from Poundland!!
Spray it on as a foam, leave it 2 hours when the faom makes a blanket then wipe off and give it a quick rinse. Mine is like new again and this stuff had no overpowering smell which I was expecting.Lets get this straight. Say my house is worth £100K, it drops £20K and I complain but I should not complain when I actually pay £200K via a mortgage:rolleyes:0 -

I love oven pride too but just a word of warning, when you take the bag outside don't spill any on paving flags, I had a bag with a hole in and it left a trail where I had walked from the kitchen door to the roof of the wendyhouse where I put it down, 6 months later and the oven needed it doing again but the trail on the paving stones was still going strong.
(I mean six months later the oven needed a mega clean, not that i don't clean it more often than every 6 months)MFW Start Sep 07 £79484, Now £587740 -
Another vote for Oven Pride!
As for Mr Muscle......... i can't stand the stuff. (unfortunately all Mr Muscle products seem to 'burn/ irratate' my skin)My beloved dog Molly27/05/1997-01/04/2008RIP my wonderful stepdad - miss you loads:Axxxxxxxxx:Aour new editionsSenna :male: and Dali :female: both JRT0 -
This morning I used my mr Muscle, left it 1 hour then wiped it clean.
The bit in between the door and the oven was slightly grubby so give it a quick rub. The sharp edge cut through the cloth, the rubber glove and my index finger tip. To top that I had Mr Muscle in the cut.
A dab of superglue has fixed it but I suppose I'll not be able to pick my nose for a week. (just kidding!)
Just be careful!!Lets get this straight. Say my house is worth £100K, it drops £20K and I complain but I should not complain when I actually pay £200K via a mortgage:rolleyes:0 -
i found cif fume free oven cleaner not particularly brilliant on my oven, but fabulous for cleaning up an old plastic-coated enamel bath!!0
