how long between sending cashback claim untill you get a email response from HP? i sent mine ten days ago recorded delivery and still no response is this the normal timeframe?

I seem to remember they were a bit slow - blaming a rush of rebates being sent in. Mine was ordered on the 15th (can't remember delivery date) and the email ack was dated the 26th (of Feb).
I'm still waiting for my cheque though !

I posted mine on a monday and got email back on the friday.

However no sign of cheque yet.

Has it been signed for?

Have you checked your spam filter hasn't weeded it out?

I sent in a claim on this promotion just before this monitor thing came up and I still haven't received the cashback for that. I emailed them this week to check, just in case they had sent it and it had gone astray, but it seems they are just snowed under with claims. This is the reply I got:

The PC World one isn't the same if you compare the specs.

I have both the HP 2045 and the HP W20 monitors and they are definitely not the same.

The one from PCWorld is the W20 and has integrated speakers. More importantly it doesn't come with the £50 rebate that the eligible 2045 model does.


After rebate (when it eventually comes!) for the 2045, I have obtained both for roughly the same outlay.
