Edit - For those that missed the deal via Dabs - give these guys a call - They are an HP ReSeller an have been trading about 2 years, good prices - and very friendly/helpful -
I spoke to a wonderful young lady at it247.com called Johanne she's sorted me out two of these for the wonderful price of £188.76 each(Inc vat)
plus delivery of about £5 - shes really nice and it was a good price, the cashback is still valid... you will need to get in quick as they only have about 200 odd at the 188 price bracket - then the prices go back up to 200 plus vat...

This one also seems good too - http://www.scan.co.uk/products/productinfo.asp?WebProductID=545161 :-)0

both great deals - I like the daewoo more - looks like the apple monitors - and the screens a bit bigger - but you pay a bit more! and NO cashback.
The HP is a bargin for the screen resolution alone!0 -
Ohhh wish I had funds to buy a new monitor...
Don't forget quidco for another bit of cashback (2% i think):rotfl:0 -
That HP monitor does look great value with the cashback!
I had been thinking of getting one of following 20.1" monitors from ebuyer:
V7 V7S20PD (link here) for £148.04 (free p&p), or
Belinea 2025S1 (link here) for £149.98 (free p&p)
However, neither of those monitors are widescreen and native resolution is only 1400 x 1050. The HP monitor has a max resolution of 1680 x 1050 in comparison and the cashback brings it to almost to the same price - although Dabs p&p is £9.85 for this item. Still the cheapest 20.1" widescreen I've seen though unless anybody else knows of another?
Only thing is...if I wait another few months, I just know prices will fall across the board!0 -
The HP is a great screen....I use the predecessor at work (L2035 4:3 ratio)...it's fantastic. It cost my firm about a grand just over 2 years ago!
I also have the 24" widescreen version at home (on the strength of how good my work one was!)...it's fantastic too.
Go grab one!0 -
pigsback do 10pts per £1 spent at dabs, as an alternative cashback:rotfl:0

Can anyone say if the swivel/pivot 90 degrees described, is purely a mechanical one in the horizontal viewing field, or as my desired landscape/portrait display.
If the latter then this is not just a good price, but an amazing price. Methinks it is not the same as the facility on some of the 2065 models, despite the wording.ac's lovechild0 -
Yes it does go into portrait mode

Just a damn shame it seems to be the silver model on sale and not black0 -
And, according to the HP data sheet, it comes with software to support the portrait mode:

This IS an amazing value display, definately hot at £150. I have two of these at work (yes, side by side) and they are fantastic. The stands on them are very smart, and they do indeed pivot 90 degrees into portrait very smoothly.
Bear in mind they are also DVI, whereas the other posters cheapy TFT screens are only VGA. I would not buy a VGA only display ever again.
The cashback is made out via cheque within about five weeks (I bought mine and put a claim in about four weeks ago, and havent yet received it - they quote 28 days from acknowledgement and its been 21 days so I'm not worried quite yet)
Oh, dont forget the built in 2 port USB hub as well!0
