I was almost tempted to buy a monitor from Aldi tomorrow but this is a much better deal, ordered one and hope I get it!

I don't understand the DVI, my computer is a couple of years old, would it have the necessary connectors?

If the graphics card has a DVI-d output, they tend to be more oval shaped than the 15 pin D shaped socket.

I think the Apple must be OK as they have been using DVI-d sockets for around 10 years. Would work with a VGA output too. Different graphics o/p for G4 here http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=42739

Thanks for this information, I'll have a look at the graphics card tomorrow! Or I could check out the graphics card specs if I want to find out without pulling the tower out and looking! lol

Seems my graphics card is this one

    C.P. Technologies Inc. RADEON 9200SE

Not sure whether that's good news or bad!

    Final edit - I looked and think there's a DVI socket :D
  • Do all graphics cards work with this resolution OK? I have the Geforce 6600

Any help would be great, thanks
  • And when I went to Checkout it showed I had £15 worth of vouchers I could put against it. I have no idea where they popped up from though.

    Bargain!

    edit: Damn - a £5 and £10 but couldn't use both ;(
  • Lol, I had a £20 voucher for some reason. £109something after the cashback.
