Thank you Soolin, but is there anyway of using signed for delivery to make sure it has beed delivered???
Also which is the other country you mentioned???
Thanks
I've currently blocked the Russian Federation as I had a problem with post being very slow and having to refund, and now the Royal Mail have a warning about postal delays.
I did block The Netherlands for a few days in a fit of pique as I had the rudest most unpleasant buyer imaginable from there.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Finally back on track! The items I listed on Sunday (to end Sunday) have all got bids and I have just started another related items. I still have a long way to go to equal the work rate of some of you ladies but at least it all helps.
Thank you to whoever said what should have been obvious (but wasn't to me) that its better to sell the same kind of thing at the same time as they attract more bids.* Ebay- 1 Bag a Day *0 -
Morning All, I managed to get 13 things listed last sunday before I ran out of steam, but on the plus side I've managed to fill 3 more carrier bags with bits and pieces that I need to rehome. I frequently put things away for birthdays and christmas well in advance and then can't remember where they are.... needless to say I've now found a lot of them:rotfl:including a couple of baby outfits for my nephew - unfortunately he's now 3 years old:o
Got a bit of a panic on about figuring out the postage so I stuck with UK only but after having a chat with the guy at the post office I think I'll give Europe a go as well, tried to change the postage thing on a couple of them this evening and couldn't figure out how to do it so I gave up:rotfl:
Just checked my emails and found a FLW that came in about 3.40am (sometimes there are benefits to being an insomniac:rotfl:)
FREE LISTING WEEKEND
Only on Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 March 2012
There's nothing on the general announcements page or in my message box, but I noticed they didn't post any announcements till the day before when they had the last ones and there were 2 flw's back in January, so I figure this is going to apply to everyone that usually gets the flw emails.
Right I'm off to check the batteries and see if I can find the scales (dread to think where himself put them when he tidied up but they're not on the cupboard where they should be)

All my things are ending between today and Sunday night, currently have bids on 10 things, at just about £120 so far :j
Got a few more things to list this weekend if I have time, planning on getting the garden sorted (planting veg to reduce my food bills!) so it's all moneysaving :TCan't think of anything smart to put here...0 -
I have yet another person who hasn't paid. I won't be able to open a npb until 16.45 so I will have to set an alarm to remember to do so. It's most annoying when they don't pay. They'd soon complain if I didn't post it for 4 days because I was busy!Debt: 16/04/2007:TOTAL DEBT [strike]£92727.75[/strike] £49395.47:eek:   £43332.28 repaid 100.77% of £43000 target.MFiT T2: Debt [STRIKE]£52856.59[/STRIKE] £6316.14 £46540.45 repaid 101.17% of £46000 target.2013 Target: completely clear my [STRIKE]£6316.14[/STRIKE] £0 mortgage debt. £6316.14 100% repaid.0

Funnily enough i've been doing steadily ok with my Mum's books and odd bits but this last week have got 3 unpaid bidders from last Sunday up until now (one of which has bought about 5 lots. Grr) I find the NPB thing very strange!
On the plus side, another free listing weekend! Yay!0 -
Am I being a bit thick but isn't this weekend's free listing for mobile listings?

MummyD - well done
Sorry forgot what else I was going to say to individual people - durr brain here
Posting abroad - I don't post abroad unless someone asks specifically and then I take the item to the PO and get it costed - I go for Airmail and signed for on delivery.
I've made £47 so far this weekend and if everyone who is watching bids at the lowest amount I should make about another £20ish
Mum has given me DVDs to list - does anyone list Videos or is it a waste of time
I've more stuff to put on for this weekend and I'll relist the bits that don't sell
Well done everyone - isn't it nice to pass on your junk to someone else and get money for doing so hehe
