Oh can I join too please?

I've been ebaying on and off for the past fews. I step it up the past year to raise some extra funds for our wedding. But now we're saving for a house and trying for a baby so need the extra pounds, not to mention to get rid of all our clutter and junk we no longer need.

I've got a wardrobe in our spare room where I put it all and have taken a new approach to listing a few items every few days. That way if all the items I list do sell I'm not taking in lots of parcels to post.

I could do with a NLF weekend as I have a few items that I don't want to list for 99p!

    *1 A DAY on Ebay*
    Jan 31/31 :D PLUS 24 EXTRA= 55
    Feb 29/29 PLUS 21 EXTRA = 50 :)
    March 11/31 PLUS 2 EXTRA = 13
    £365 in 366 days = 91/366 :)
  • Count me in! I already sell a little but want to get into it properly, possibly buying at auctions etc and re-selling. Will start this weekend though if its free listing!!
  • woohoo - been waiting for the flw.

Does anything listed this weekend count towards your 100 free listings allowance then? I've almost maxed mine out :(. I've got 4 left for March and I've been saving them for the text books I want to put on for more than 99p so I can recoup the P&P.

I think I'm going to use DH's ebay account for the rest of the month cos I've still got lots left to list that I've already taken pics of and they're lying around. Want to get rid of them.

My make-up and perfume's selling really well!!!! The other bathroom stuff isn't really going so I think that'll probably be going in the bin. There's some things in there like shower gel and shampoo/conditioner I don't use anymore that I've never opened. I don't really want to pour it down the sink but not sure if CS will want them? What do you think?

MummyDrusilla, CS's will happily accept your toiletries if they are unopened. Alternatively, if you are able to find a phone number for your local womens refuge, they would welcome any toiletries- even items like hair dye or lightly used make-up. Often very handy when women flee the home with only the clothes they stand up in.
If you are unable to find a phone number, you could speak to your local police station and see if they are able to contact anyone. Obviously they won't give you the refuge address but they will be able to meet with you somewhere. HTH's.

Right, today I have to catch up on housework but after that, I'm away to rummage in my cupboards and see if I can find anything else to list. I've a broken mobile phone with a very good camera on it but the slider is broken. Hopefully that will sell.
Sales are going well on my facebook selling page too. I'm very happy with what I've achieved there.

MummyDrusilla - I agree with Kaz that cs shops take them in , also if they are new in packets / unopened you could always put them away and at xmas / birthdays etc make little hampers or baskets out of them for gifts to save money !!

Well off to get stuff out again and start taking pics now - I intend on having 20 listing ready today , so off to crack on ;)

As you will be trading you cannot use a private account and do not therefore qualify for free listings. You will also need to register with HMRC as a trader.

That's really useful to know. Thank you. I'll have a look for local phone numbers and send anything on that I don't sell. Would much prefer it to go to a good cause than down the drain or in the bin to landfill!!!
