Gutted, had my fingers crossed for a FLW at the weekend, and nothing
Hopefully we will get one this weekend!!Can't think of anything smart to put here...0 -
My OH joked that perhaps the people at Ebay are all poorly too like we are and were sympathising with the people that were too ill to list this week, thats why there was no free listing! I only managed 6 new auctions...
Although i had a Fabulous night last night, 15 items listed and sold (all from my bargain £5 mega haul,) for a grand total of £147. Over the moon!! About half are going to Germany - for some reason they go crackers for kids Next stuff?
I must motivate this week, and then i may consider bringing down a bag of summer stuff to list the first week of April in time for Easter holidays???0 -
Morning all,
Sorry some of you are feeling poop.
Alionaer & keys, I'm guilty of the same thing. I get huge bags of things ready and pictured to list when I get the chance but then it hangs over me a little bit. But I find that I work better with things hanging around and staring me in the face. If I put it away, it's out of sight, out of mind!
I had loads of my things sell last night and made £95 without taking P&P off. I finally got round to withdrawing £187 from my pp account on Saturday (I was delaying taking it out cos it looked so nice having that much money sat in there!!!) and after taking off P&P I've got £134 which will pay off 1 of my cc's completely so I can cancel that one and cut it up. Woohooooo :j
I listed most of my bathroom stuff and make-up last night and got bids for a couple of the things straight away! They were 2 almost full perfumes so I was expecting them to go but not so quickly!
And I've had a question about a mac eye shadow I'm selling. I've never used it and it's still in the original box. Someone from Italy has asked me if I have warranty to guarantee it's genuine. Obv I can't do this - I don't have a receipt or anything cos it was free from a magazine. I've sent her a msg back saying I'm a private seller and all my items are from having a clear-out so I can't provide proof of genuine-ness (what's the right word for that?!). I'm now thinking that I might get asked this again - what would you do/say?Debt free in

Good Friday is April 6th this year, so I'd be looking to list now for the holidays.
Well done on such great sales.0 -

:hello:Good evening all, hope everyone who was feeling under the weather is feeling a bit better and you've all had a good weekend.
I braved the depths of the hallway cupboard  and now himself is moaning he can't get down the hallway cos I've filled it with stuff:rotfl:It was a bit like taking a lucky dip in the tardis, I've pulled things out of there that I can't remember shoving in there to start with... so either the folks in Narnia need to find somewhere else to store their bits and pieces or I've just discovered that unattended items breed in the dark:think:
On the plus side I filled 2 carrier bags:T, and a large cardboard box which I'm going to go through a bit more slowly but I'm leaving it in the hallway so I'm not tempted to ignore it for too long. I've hit a bit of a snag with taking photo's as the batteries died in the middle of taking pics, I'd forgotten to switch the charger on when I plugged it in to charge up the other dead ones as well - Organised or What?:rotfl:
I was a bit disappointed when I had a look at the pics I'd manage to load onto the computer, energy saving bulbs are not camera friendlyHad a slight mishap with my first listing as well after taking ages to type it in, for some reason I had real problems with wording and rewording what I was typing, and I managed to delete it and I still have no idea how. Think I'll stick with pen and paper for now and then just copy it all in and give it a scheduled start date, then when I add the photo's tell it to start immediately as the description on post 201. Ah well onward and upward, time for a cuppa
