    hi there

I opened a case against the NPB today as they still haven't paid for item so wanted to cancel the transaction

And I have just received an email from ebay saying that the buyer rejected the cancellation and as a result I will not receive a FVF credit what does this mean?

ps the buyer has still not paid after rejecting the case

    thanks in advance :)

Ok deep breath time, no more procrasti-thingymabob... this weekend I have to :eek:brave the wilderness which masquarades as the hallway cupboard ... the other half has just tried to get something out of there and I really don't want to go and see what it was that fell out onto him:eek: but judging by the sound it might have been the pack of floor tiles:(

If someone can sign me up for 1 pink recycling bag please I think this weekend will be spent filling it, knowing my luck the camera batteries will be dead so I'd better wander off to find the charger. Not to mention check if i need to verify my account. This could get interesting:rotfl:

How can they reject a NPB claim? I thought they could only resolve it? I have 4 items which haven't been paid for now. 1 is fine, I know when she's collecting it. Another is OK, they have contacted me to request my address for collection but they've not responded to say when they'll collect. The other 2 are postal items and I will open a NPB case tomorrow evening on one and the other will be 2 days after that. Why do people bother bidding and not pay?

What should I do now? Just relist the item? Without doing anything else?
  • Thanks keys. Sorry you're not feeling very well :(. Listing my items bit by bit though I think I'm going to have to go back upstairs with my notepad to write down the details cos I can't work out what on earth they all are from the pics!!!!

Unfortunately you asked the buyer to do a mutual cancellation rather than a NPB. You now can't open a NPBso you have to pay your FVF's.
If someone doesn't pay you must open a NPB, if they still don't pay you can close it 4 days later & you then get your FVF credit & the bidder gets a strike.

If you relist & they pay you could end up with 2 buyers & get neg FB from one of them.
Message the buyer & ask them when they will be able to pay, try & be polite & nice & hopefully they'll respond.

Ah see, I hadn't read you'd gone for a cancellation. That's rubbish that you can't do a NPB afterwards though. Not as in it's lies, rubbish as in that's pants BTW :o!
Have been contacted about picking up the unit so that's off tomorrow afternoon. Lovely. Almost got enough cash to get the kids passport photos and their passports now. Then the next load goes towards our ESTAs and then spending money- woohoo!

    keys, get well soon!

Not much progress for me this week either. So far I've only listed 2 items and got 5 scheduled for sun night.

I've now figured out why I'm feeling so overwhelmed and tired of the whole ebay thing - it's because I stupidly decided one day to go through my cupboards and loft and brought out far too much stuff which is now housed on the sofa in my dining room. It's dragging me down seeing this huge pile every day and I can't mentally cope with it! It finally occurred to me today that this is a "bag" challenge. I have to split it into manageable chunks and bring bags out one at a time, otherwise I just won't do it...

Thanks to everyone with the congrats :o- I have lived more in the car than anywhere else since passing - Owh and now have probably driven on all motorways in the northwest lol but loving it !! :D Just hating this bunged up aching feeling :( I have not long been back from shopping for dd's birthday presents as she is at grandads tonight n I have all the party stuff to organise over this weekend too so not much time for ebay I dont think :(

alionaear I completely agree I do exactly the same thing get all motivated and know what stuff i am going to list and have separate piles , but then once ive started taking the photos and listing it doesnt all dissapear in a day so i end up seeing it on the dining room table , downstairs toilet , my bedroom etc when I have days I empty the loft , Unfortunately I did this last Monday and due to being busy and not feeling great its still there now and it really gets you down as i havnt listed much !!!
So I am also going to take my own advice which I have been sticking to for quite some time until my error this week . Its all going back in the loft - or cupboard - out of sight and I will do a bag a day over the weekend if i get chance . I will be doing this tomorrow morning as I need some rest at the mo before the chaotic next few days :o..... So alionear I challenge you to put your stuff back but have a bag listed before Monday if your up for it ?? And I will do the same as I have kiddies party on Monday so all needs to be moved in my house too :oBut we will still get sales next week to keep watching if we list - and its more gone next week too ;)

hails14 - I second what hermum says about asking them nicely when they are collecting - Its so annoying when that happens and its a shame you didnt put a claim in .....I hope it all works out okay for you :)
