They have managed to get pocketgps to work, but there is still from what i can gather teething problems but has worked better than expected.
Going back to Talex thing, Rebecca i think was the woman who dealt with locations before but i recieved the opposite to you mate, one camera took 6 months to have speed limit updated, even after i sent them photos of the camera and road speed limit sign before it.
If you want pm me the details of the cameras and i will get them added by contacting steve personally. Adam Blair is only running the company, he has nothing to do with the database, all he wants is the database to be back to the award winning status it use to be.0 -

And the best approach to that is no financial investment in it, and to try promote some laser thing to the customer base you bought off a bankrupt company :rolleyes:0 -
yes Adam is a very shrewd business man and can see potential in talex. but lets give the big re launch that is coming up soon a chance and see what happens from there.
Also today i put the Talex up against the pgpsworld database. found pgps to miss all specs on route. talex found all but also report a set that are no longer there. both databases reported the same number of fixed which were correct but pgp actually missed a few more mobile locations to the talex (which did miss some). this was on a 250 mile round trip.0 -
The latest pgpsworld camera database (2 May) does have the spec locations on them, but according to sources the specs have been on the m27 for a while now and have only been moved 100 yds. My database i was using was the latest when i downloaded it 7 days ago.0

Could someone show me where the forum/thread is for getting the Pocketgps database onto the talex is???0

try google as i know its being discussed more openly elsewhere, i beleive on pocketgpsworld forums themselves. you could contact cheesemonkai on briskoda.net forums as i know he was looking at an open source program that would allow such a database to run on the talex.0

I bought a Novus GPS Rider just last week at Aldi for £39.99 but it is obviously already out of date regarding the database. I like others have tried everything to access a download databse but to no avail. I have sent an email to Novus and await a reply0
