I fitted mine which arrived yesterday, I have a combi boiler with Mira shower

There were horrible noises and the then a bang, so stopped shower at once

The blooming thing had caused such a back pressure that it had blown a push fit connection off, and water was flooding the kitchen through the ceiling underneath the shower

I have spent a few hours mopping up & repairing the plumbing

Just be aware if your plumbing has push fit connectors, my installation is only a few months old, and the push fit is used by many installers these days, for speed & simplicity

Older installations are probably compression or soldered

Lucky you found the leak, could fix it yourself and could reach it. Wonder if everybody else is that lucky? Money SAVING device - Hmmmmm??

So lets fit something to your shower that reduces the flow as that will use less hot water, right?

What do you think TAPS are for!?

Some people just don't seem to think!!

There's so much scope for this company to diversify with new ideas. What about energy saving devices to:

    - reduce the volume on your music system and TV
    - cause your fridge to maintain a warmer temperature, say 15 degrees C
    - turn off your electricity at 10pm every night

If the government really is backing this I'm appalled.

Its worth saying that they are no good for electric showers before people rush and order them.

Basically, this device limits the amount of water that comes out of your shower to 7.8 litres per minute. This helps reduce your carbon footprint and save you money.

Mine came yesterday, I had almost given up hope as I ordered it probably a good 3/4 weeks ago. It's going straight to my sister, with 2 kids she is happy to try a money saving device!
