Sounds goodl. Will be checking out this website“…the ‘insatiability doctrine – we spend money we don’t have, on things we don’t need, to make impressions that don’t last, on people we don’t care about.” Professor Tim Jackson

thanks.
Naomi**Thank to all MSE who save me money with vouchers/ freebies & competitions ***0 -
When you order it says to see its T&C. When you click on the link you receive the message:
Terms and Conditions for full details on our terms and conditions please contact us
That's really helpful, isn't it?0 -

Be warned Warmfront/eaga are not quite what they seem. They are a Quango purporting to help those who are vulnerable and/or in fuel poverty but really they help themselves to YOUR money and pay huge sums to their subcontractors - some of whom they own!0

Surely Martin would have researched the company prior to recommending them????????0

I have received mine for free. Thank you. I have looked at it and tried it and realise it is another possibly of these "eco friendly items " that in reality is possibly not. Longer spent in the shower than normal etc etc. Furs up leaks costs more in the long run. However if they got it right!!?? But still free and worth trying, yes?
However it came in a nice little box that I can reuse for something else.
Thanks to OP who is only trying to help us all.0 -
I received mine yesterday but am now undecided as to whether to try it or not.
Thanks anyway OP.0 -
I fitted mine which arrived yesterday, I have a combi boiler with Mira shower
There were horrible noises and the then a bang, so stopped shower at once
The blooming thing had caused such a back pressure that it had blown a push fit connection off, and water was flooding the kitchen through the ceiling underneath the shower
I have spent a few hours mopping up & repairing the plumbing
Just be aware if your plumbing has push fit connectors, my installation is only a few months old, and the push fit is used by many installers these days, for speed & simplicity
Older installations are probably compression or solderedEight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens0 -
As the plumber chappy has said, if you want to save money on water, turn the taps so the flow is reduced. This is about getting the govt. to raise taxes - which we all have to pay - in order to subsidse this rubbish and make a profit for the supplying company.
Smoke and mirrors. This is not a money saving idea Martin, shouldn't be on this site. This advice worth only what you paid for it :beer:0
