Just seen this fix on the other thread - go to the new stretchy look, rather than the old look. It's solved it for me.
I just get a white page with a long typed list of the various sections and can hover over them, but when I click it goes nowhere....just back to the typed list...
Perhaps I'll try and see if there's any updates for the ipod and download FF for that.
Thanks!0 -
Just a minor point to tidy up if possible, but by no means urgent.
On fixed width there is not enough room for the "The Following 19 Users Say Thank You to MSE Forum Manager For This Useful Post: Show me >> Remove Your Thanks" line at the bottom of a post to fit on a single line whenever the username is above about 14 characters long. See http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.php?p=50485199&postcount=1 for an example. Old and new wording could be:
The Following 19 Users Say Thank You to MSE Forum Manager For This Useful Post:
These 19 Users Have Thanked MSE Forum Manager For This Useful Post:
The Following User Says Thank You to MSE Martin For This Useful Post:
This User Has Thanked MSE Martin For This Useful Post:0 -
when I click on some buttons a new page opens so I end up with loads of pages open and keep having to go through and close them.
Please check you are using a new masthead style. The behaviour you describe was limited to the "old look" style. You'll get a much better experience of the site using a "new masthead" style.
In any event as we have had a lot of requests to change this behaviour in the old style (which does not have many users). So we have done so. Hopefully this issue is resolved for you.I'm having a range of problems
I think it's all relating to the same thing but if you spot anything else please post here. Thanks for your help.

Seems that when someone posts using [noparse]
Results in the oversize code box pushing the forum border out.

Thanks, Ian. Someone suggested this on the other thread so I changed to new look but stretchy and everything's working fine now.0 -
Test.
- For some reason bullet points are not showing up in some of my previous posts.
- This is a test of that.
EDIT: Whoops! Seems bullet points are broken as well.
Oddly enough they show in the edit dialogue post preview, but not when the post is actually made,Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB
