this is also borrowed from the mega reduction threadI went to Tescos last night and the Post cereal in Stawberry was 50p I bought 11 boxes (ie cleared the shelf at Sndhrst meadows) it is this make
http://www.tesco.com/groceries/Product/Details/?id=268645068
it was marked on the shelf at this price and my kids eat a box a day so a great saving for melife is like a loo roll. the nearer the end you get, the faster it goes.0 -

((((hug)))) instead, i know its not easy when people you care about are ill, but please try not to feel too down as im sure your mum wouldn't want you to feel this way, and to be honest (but brutal) you being depressed is not going to help any one least of all your self and your mum.
You need to look on the bright side, now you know more you will be in a better position to help out when needed. I don't want this to come across as harsh, just would hate to think of you being pulled down because of the situation as well.
Much love to you and your mum as well xxxSorry to hear that, there are probably people on here that have had similar experiences, always feel you have someone to talk to on here. Don't be afraid to post on here if it will help to talk to us
BIG HUG
Thank you!!:)
I've cheered up, went to tesco:D however I couldn't find anything decent and then went to Asda  I did some wombling yet only found one receipt (small store) and it only had 5 products on:mad: then went back to tesco again(huge store) lots of receipts found joy:T however no DTD yet so far.
h3me1 h3mpste4d store seems very much on the ball with OOD SEL:mad:0 -
A little bargain I found in Tesco yesterday!:)
A magnetic salt and pepper grinder set.
Was £7, RTC 63p:D
I like these and I think I know where their might be some:T:TI have been on amitriotyline for a while now. They are not addictive but you do have to come off them slowly. They may give you a bit of a headache at first but that goes. They are great for getting you to sleep HTH.
Thank you:)Going slightly further O/T here but wondered how do these sort of things affect travel insurance in other peoples experience? I'm just sorting out european travel insurance for the summer. In previous years I've normally done this online and taken the cheapest I can get with cashback from Quidco. Although I've been to the docs a few times with problems+ treatments, I've had no major surgery and no residual problems so assumed that I didn't have to make any health declaration. After an unexpected problem with DDs Virgin backpacker insurance last year I decided to play safe and go direct to get a quote. Still with me? OK my elbow problem is not as bad as Nikkilala but I was told that because I have some ongoing physio treatment and had a course of anti-inflammatory drugs then my premium would be higher. Digging further I then went on to ask whether some anti-depressants I'd been on finishing in 2007 would affect things. Yes was the answer! Premium bumped again. I stopped there. Not sure what to do now? Any other experiences?:)
Artha, completely with you on this. I was severely anaemic a while back and apparently had been for a long time and was put on strong iron tablets and had to take them for a year, and have regular blood tests. I went on holiday and never really thought anything of it but apparently I found out when I came back that I wouldnt have been covered as I didnt declare it:eek:Only found out because a friend had the same problem and she was totally turned down for insurance!!Never even thought about insurance with my arm and I'm definately going away this summer:eek:Beware!!!! I must admit I felt the same though a few weeks back - I tried to help somebody on here and got it thrown back in my face - it knocks you back a bit especially if, like me, you suffer with low self esteem.
It has really helped me being on here and reading about everyone's lives and I'd really like to thank everyone for sharing. This morning I finally plucked up the courage to go to the doctors and I've been diagnosed with depression. I've known I've had it for years but only just had the courage to get some help
Well done you for going to the doctors, It takes a lot of courage sometimes to go in there and just open up and be honest, so good for you:T:T:T:T:TDon't worry about anyone trying to knock you back on here, someone did it to me when I first started because the gardening glitch lasted for about 4 or 5 days in my T's and someone pretty much said they didnt believe me, and it really upset me (Can you believe that:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:)Then a few other people realised it was still working in their T's too. I can remember feeling total relief that it worked for other people too.Now I don't give two hoots if someone believes me or not, you'll soon work out whos trolling;););)Afternoon all,
Thanks to DODO and Bob for the PMs.
Well done Debs on the fantastic weight loss you put my losing 2lbs to shame. Did not do very well at the weekend with being away as had cooked breakfasts both mornings, so might have done a bit better. But at least I am on the down.
Spirallingdown, hope you get your laptop sorted soon. It must be such a worry for you. I hope you can relax about it all by tomorrow.
Not been to Ts since last thursday and no withdrawal symptons yet. Think have had other things to worry about. Mum had results on monday from her scan and it shows cancer has spread a little around the area where she already has had radiotherapy so all they can do for her at the moment is pain relief, poor thing. So have been busy getting prescriptions and sorting out her tablets as they have upped the dose yet again.
She was very poorly yesterday evening, think possibly got herself worked up as had taken wrong days pill dispenser and I had run out of one med. So only up until friday had all the correct doses and she had taken mondays. She was so frightened she had overdosed herself but actually she had missed something out. So don't know if that was the problem.
Think I will have to only do the dispensers if I have all the meds in the future. Then it won't matter which day she takes. It's her birthday tomorrow not sure what we will do to celebrate at the moment. See how she feels.
Sorry to spill out all my troubles, just helps to talk about it.
Sending you cyber hugs Tiny, hope you manage to do something nice with your mum, bless her, tomorrow xxxBeware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:0 -

When I was ringing around for quotes for insurance not only were they asking about medication, surgery in the last 6 months, general medical history & also out patients appointments in the last 6 months & any upcoming ones.
I don't know all the small print ins & outs but one company said If you do not declare all of the above & you have any sort of medical problem relating to the undeclared condition or something new the policy is invalid.
Not sure how true this is.
Nikki sorry to hear the little blue pill didn't work last night.
Went to our local store this morning for weekly shop overcharged on a reduced item CS only wanted to give me JTD (nice lady not there), they muttered something about it being manual, yes but not put through by my little hand was it trout, but the cashier, phoned HO will be interested to see if I get a letter no mention of a giftcard & I didn't say how much it was.
Only pence but its the principle still angry :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

You are right it's the principle, but I did smile about you not being able to stand arguing because you didnt want to loose your mum, we really need to get together and my mum and your mum can be left together having a cup of tea;););););)While we go and cause havoc:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Beware!!!!
