I saw someone once, buying something that was BOGOF and told them that they could get another for free. They looked at me like i was a total fruit cake and walked off ... ya cant help some people... yet other times when paying i get coupon envy from the peeps behind me in the queue... different strokes....:p

Some people are weird, but then again during the DTD days when we had to buy only one product from BOGOF I felt odd and did get odd looks :o some people politely told me that what I had just picked up was BOGOF. So I said thanks picked up another one, when there backs were turned I put it back! LOL. And made a quick get away:p

The worst I've seen and experienced was seeing a guy pick up one innocent veg pot. Were BOGOF, told him you should buy another one, he said mind your own business:eek::eek::eek::mad: As you said you certainly can't help some people. The things are expensive at £3.79ish so I thought I was doing the right thing.
Oh well. I still tell people though, most say thanks :)

Bookworm63 - Well done for going to the doctors, it'll be the best decision you ever made. I did the same just before xmas 2006, I'd been struggling with it for years to the point I couldn't even get out of bed or get dressed, I waited too long, I was in a terrible state when I went to the doctor and so scared  So well done for doing it before it got too bad xx
I was looking through the receipts I Wombled today. Someone bought the Pepsi 600ml for £1.08. Only one. Yet there BOGOF and the 2L ones were only £1! I think some people go shopping blind folded.

Pepsi 500/600ml bottles are ALWAYS on offer, whether it's displayed or not, I love Pepsi Max and always buy in multiples of 2, it's usually 2 for £1.70 but sometimes BOGOF like now - I don't understand why people don't look!

:rotfl:Mind your own business indeed, well I'm glad I'm not minding his bank account if that's how he does his shopping!

I was in an express t'other day and saw those little Olay sets with the silver mirrors marked at £3.50, asked the till guy and they scanned at £1.75 so I grabbed another one, I told the woman who was also eyeing up the (very small) gift section and she said "oh really? Cheers!!" and put about five in her basket, thanking me profusely. I do like to do a good deed and be rewarded :D:D:D

    Hi all
Just logged on so not had a chance to catch up since last night yet.
Went to the big Extra at L££ Mill and the smaller one at Rob0rough Plym0uth after printing off all of the wines that had gone back to full price.....and left the list at home!!
So I don't know what they were but from having a quick scout around it looked as though the SEL's were up to date anyway.

I manged to find some of the Disney stockings for 1p, (plenty left at Roborough)
some more of the descalers for 1p,
a cuddle me money box 22p,
four me to you key rings 20p,
a solitary scotch brite easy eraser (so they are still around!)
Also got the Platinum band dinner service rtc at £4.20
And a pair of silentnight feather pillows rtc £8.20.....all the silentnight stuff has been further reduced now.
And at R0b0rough I got severely trouted but amazingly stood my ground on a DTD for a Breville Iron SEL £20. scanned £40.
She tried to tell me that DTD only applied on certain things, so I said OK that's fine. You just refund me the difference and I'll query your policy with Head Office....I'll just make a note of your name so they can contact you if necessary.
Never seen anyone backtrack so quickly!.
I was hoping for some of the RC cars but could only see them at L££ Mill and they were correctly priced.

Can one of the Plymouth ladies please tell me where Transit Way is....I got lost again!!!
I took the correct turning from Roborough across the A38 but ended up going through Mutley and ended up at Drakes Circus in the city centre. I then headed out of the city towards Exeter and after the Dunelm business park I took aleft at the big roundabout and ended up at Mutley again!!!

I then just went the way I came (heading towards Tavistock) and rejoined the A38 and went home to Totnes!!
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.
