    Afternoon all,

Thanks to DODO and Bob for the PMs. :)

Well done Debs on the fantastic weight loss you put my losing 2lbs to shame. Did not do very well at the weekend with being away as had cooked breakfasts both mornings, so might have done a bit better. But at least I am on the down. ;)

Spirallingdown, hope you get your laptop sorted soon. It must be such a worry for you. I hope you can relax about it all by tomorrow. :)

Not been to Ts since last thursday and no withdrawal symptons yet. Think have had other things to worry about. Mum had results on monday from her scan and it shows cancer has spread a little around the area where she already has had radiotherapy so all they can do for her at the moment is pain relief, poor thing. So have been busy getting prescriptions and sorting out her tablets as they have upped the dose yet again.

She was very poorly yesterday evening, think possibly got herself worked up as had taken wrong days pill dispenser and I had run out of one med. So only up until friday had all the correct doses and she had taken mondays. She was so frightened she had overdosed herself but actually she had missed something out. So don't know if that was the problem.

Think I will have to only do the dispensers if I have all the meds in the future. Then it won't matter which day she takes. It's her birthday tomorrow not sure what we will do to celebrate at the moment. See how she feels.

Sorry to spill out all my troubles, just helps to talk about it. :o

my cat wasnt to impressed by that. and was staring at the laptop trying to work out where the noise was coming from.

Just sent an email to customer services asking to clarify the dtd policy in express stores. I know they're supposed to give it but my local insist they don't. Will be nice having something in writing ;)

p.s This was normal customer services as I don't deem it important enough for the philip clarke email.

Got an email back saying what we all know, will print it off and take it with me whenever I pop in :D

No DTDs today (so annoying after three days of DTDs this week ;) However, worth checking out the Denby Everyday dinner sets. were on 1/2 price @ £42.50, ended yesterday so if you find an OOD SEL youre on!
i scanned one today and it was still £42.50 :mad: though the ha$ting store has 3 prices for the same dinner service :rotfl:

Did you know that you can get the chemist to make up her prescription in weekly dispense packs where all the meds for each week are in a big blister packs - providing she takes the correct day, she can't go wrong. HTH
  • Have any of the dfs crew noticed that the scanner in the Extra isn't working again :( Also, a couple of stores I've been to lately have had their scanners removed (Lanark and the downstairs one in Wishaw) hope this isn't a sign of things to come...

    Hi everyone
Stay at MIL's for one night and see 30+ pages to catch up on. Went did weekly shop in T's today but didn't find much in way of deals. The seasonal aisle has been completely cleared of all clearance stock and is now just easter stock. Saw one funny yello SEL though, bag of mixed salad leaves £1 each or 2 for £1

piched from the tesco mega reductions thread

A lady in front of me in Tesco (Foster Sq, Bradford) had a Mega Blox Pink & Purple decent sized box at the till. It was marked up at half price £15, but went through at £10! Seemed like a good deal for anyone interested! HTH!

    please thank the other op.
