Just flicking through a trade catalogue DH has been sent and was gobsmacked to see Evo-stick have launched a product called 'Sticks like !!!!!!' !!! What is the world coming to?! That is actually its name as I've written it.

That's disgusting. I hated it when I first kept seeing French Connection's abbreviation. It made me avoid the label not the reverse.

It isn't even an expression. More like stinks... Not sticks....

    Silly advertising ploy :(

I have Just been for a quick 'reckie' on this - in my store SEL is £11.99, bottle is scanning through at £5.99. HTH

It could be worth double checking on this. It was showing online yesterday at £5.99 and it was priced this way in my local store.

However they've obviously had problems with this and it's now showing at £11.99 online. So obviously if it scans at this in store and there's an SEL for £5.99 then DTD would mean free wine.

  • & I notice trading standards haven't forced them to make it brown & smelly!! Can you imagine taking that in to a customers property!! Don't think you would get any repeat trade!

Crossed my mind too - on line at around 6.30 am, the product was showing not available or withdrawn (cant remember which) I just know it wasn't for sale. I wonder if anyone managed to get it on an online order and get a substitution. I went to my local and the SEL was the same at £11.99 so not even showing the offer. Might try my other local on the way home.

We had a bit of a "discussion" about them because I always thought they were anti depressants and I'm not depressed, but he said no in low doses they are good as a muscle relaxant and should help me sleep.Has anyone else ever used then for this, I hate taking tablets

I have been on amitriotyline for a while now. They are not addictive but you do have to come off them slowly. They may give you a bit of a headache at first but that goes. They are great for getting you to sleep HTH.

Going slightly further O/T here but wondered how do these sort of things affect travel insurance in other peoples experience? I'm just sorting out european travel insurance for the summer. In previous years I've normally done this online and taken the cheapest I can get with cashback from Quidco. Although I've been to the docs a few times with problems+ treatments, I've had no major surgery and no residual problems so assumed that I didn't have to make any health declaration. After an unexpected problem with DDs Virgin backpacker insurance last year I decided to play safe and go direct to get a quote. Still with me? OK my elbow problem is not as bad as Nikkilala but I was told that because I have some ongoing physio treatment and had a course of anti-inflammatory drugs then my premium would be higher. Digging further I then went on to ask whether some anti-depressants I'd been on finishing in 2007 would affect things. Yes was the answer! Premium bumped again. I stopped there. Not sure what to do now? Any other experiences?:)

GGrr, got my diary from tesco just before Christmas, but cant get on with it!

Its a page a day, but every other 'page a days' have sat and sunday on one page (if that makes sense) therefore monday is always on the left page etc. Not so, one week left, one week right, because sat ans sun get a whole page etc. I dont know what day it is as it is!! I know its exactly what it says on the tin, but not come across this before with diaries Ive had in the past.

Seeing as its 1 feb, I assumed there would be reductions for diaries everywhere, so thought I would stretch to a new one to help orientate me to the right day:o, but oh no! WHS are still selling diaries at full price!:rotfl:most other places have sold out:(.

If anyone spots any diaries anywhere in a national type store, please let me know (if they are on offer obviously;)!!)

I spotted a spotty diary in Ts the other day. Half price at £1.50 with a 1 week view. There were quite a few to choose from and all half price. HTH
