Just sent an email to customer services asking to clarify the dtd policy in express stores. I know they're supposed to give it but my local insist they don't. Will be nice having something in writing
p.s This was normal customer services as I don't deem it important enough for the philip clarke email.0 -
have been advised by someone to get an enclosure for my HDD to convert it into a portable HDD the should be able to access the data through the net book so going out to buy one, much cheeper than the £100 fine for late return.
Hope this worksSPC #329 £471/£500 banked
SPC 2014 £1100:D

.
This happened to me the last year I was self employed and on the deadline, i took mine to pc world as the screen wouldnt come on and it was the catch that closes the laptop, then the screen goes off was broke so my laptop always thought it was shut. The guy fixed it....didnt charge me as he saw what a state I was in on the 31st Jan lol
May help but Im no techie so thought Id share
ope you get it sorted. oh and mine went in a bit late but no charge, my guess is they give a deadline then have a small lee way as with everything else in lifeThe art of being happy is to be satisfied with what you have0 -

Hope this works
I had the same problem when my dds laptop had a problem. We now use the old laptop hdd as a backup for the main computer. Will be a lot less than £100. But try the phone call too. Good luck!0 -
