Don't worry, it was never a dead cert and we all have fun checking and letting each other know how we get on.

I must admit I felt the same though a few weeks back - I tried to help somebody on here and got it thrown back in my face - it knocks you back a bit especially if, like me, you suffer with low self esteem.

It has really helped me being on here and reading about everyone's lives and I'd really like to thank everyone for sharing. This morning I finally plucked up the courage to go to the doctors and I've been diagnosed with depression. I've known I've had it for years but only just had the courage to get some help :o

We have all had that at some point, you try and help and get a snotty ticking off from a jumped up no mark, just ignore them they try to put others down to make themselves feel big xxx

I was supposed to be having an early night, but I've been on Madaboutbargains and printed off the wines that were on offer and checked them against Tesco.com.
There are a few that will still be half price tomorrow so be careful....some of the OOD sels might be the correct price.

The ones that are definitely still on offer from the list I printed off are

    Ogio Pinot Grigio Rose £4.99
    Ogio Frizzante £4.99
    Oceans Edge Sauvignon Blanc £5.49
Wines from France cotes Du Rhone White £5.49
    Calvet Prestige Bordeaux Red £5.99
    Berberana Rioja Reserva £6.49

So DONT buy any of those!!!!

If you print the list off on the madaboutbargains off your trolley section....it gives all the wines that were on offer ending today.
I've just crossed all the above off the list and the following that didn't come up on the T's website.
French Conn Costieres de Nimes Red
    Calloway Crossing Cab/Shiraz
    Marquis D Carano Reserva

    HTH

    Thank you so much Purdita.

Managed to get 6 bottles of the Marquis D Carano Reserva for free. :j

  • No DTDs today (so annoying after three days of DTDs this week ;) However, worth checking out the Denby Everyday dinner sets. were on 1/2 price @ £42.50, ended yesterday so if you find an OOD SEL youre on!

thats great news well done! Can you confirm which one it was (perhaps with b/c) as .com is showing the Reserva still at half price but Gran Reserva at full price

  • To read off dead hard drives you can buy a cable thingy from Maplin, connect it to another computer and copy off the data, about £40. After I'd sorted OH's drive I took it back as "was not compatible with my mac" well that's what I told them ;)

    Got refund no probs.

Hi All I have just found the denby dinner sets with the half price offer on in T*w*r P*rk, they had changed the price on the ones in the aisle where they normally keep the home stuff but forgot the ones on the seasonal aisle.

Couldn't resist the urge to get one sa on till says that's expensive as it scanned through at £85 pretended to ignore her, made my way to customer services and couldnt believe it as the old trout that i have been having a running battle with last 2 weeks on some small dtd's was on, she wasnt too happy but got my dtd anyway so 1 free dinner set, she couldnt resist having one little attempt to come out on top by saying i cant return them for a refund only a exchange if theres a problem, just smiled sweetly and said ok.

they have removed the sel though but havent been in fl**tsbr**ge or Cas**e l**e so they may have this.
