Fudge Cake , in my honest opinion Saturday is the worst night to get admitted to a hospital .

I have a tale about an admission to a Cardiff hospital after i was knocked down by a car ( breathe easy MSE'ers I won't bore you with tales from my dark past) .

Many thanks for your kind thoughts , they've been passed onto Snap who's seated next to me watching Midwifes .

evening all... still catching up from yesterday morning and got loads of pages left...so in advance....hi to all...big hugs to all :)

my $%&*^&$% hubby tipped over the ambipur thingy on the kitchen worktop yesterday and didnt notice....this morning all my Ts reciepts are see through...only the Ts wriiting is visible...the actual reciept details are gone  I went shopping on Friday and through bulk buying nappies I managed to accumulate 3 of the £5 vouchers, ready to use this week....and now I cant use the damn things!!!

I can imagine Saturday night's are pretty hellish in A&E but in many cases I think it's the hospital. I went to A&E at the beginning of December on a Friday night and it wasn't busy at all but I got put to the bottom of the list and was left heavily bleeding for 4 hours! (having been bleeding for 5 hours before) There's no reason or excuse they could throw at me to explain why I was left that could form a valid argument so as far as I can see the only explaination is a rubbish hospital. I will NEVER go there again...this is Weston Super Mare if anyone is interested! I'm in the process of making a formal complaint.

Sorry, misread your last post, didn't see the f-i-l bit. Maidenbower is a nice area, probably in the top 3 of 14 in Crawley.

We have two Extras in the area, Hazelwick (4 mins drive from Maidenbower) and Hookwood (aka Gatwick) about 10 mins drive. Both stores are on the ball with most sels, especially electricals. Hazelwick is packed full of trouts, not too sure about Hookwood as I haven't had the pleasure yet!

I've got an official Epson App on my iPad/iPhone and have it all set up wireless. All I have do to is place what I want scanned in the scanner, open the app and press scan and hey presto, it's on my iPhone/iPad to do as I please with.

Have a look to see if there is an HP app? Failing that is your printer an apple approved 'Air Print' printer? if so you need to locate the Air Print app on the MacBook.

Or, look for the HP software (in the apps folder on Snow Leopard or Launchpad on Lion but this only works if your OH has put the software in the correct place. ;) ) and one of the programmes in there should be something to do with the scanner. I can't be more precise because we have different printers and I've never needed to scan anything in to Mac. QUOTE]

Oh, thanks so much for taking the time to explain.

There is indeed a hp app on the ipad so guess oh installed it! There are a few tabs at the top of the app, one of them is scanned files so assume this is the jobby!

I will have a go tomorrow when hes gone to work. Would lie to be able to do it myself, with a little help from my friends:T

    Thanks again
Please don't judge me. you couldn't handle half of what I've been through.

Hiya :) Haven't been on today, spent much of the day in bed with an awful migraine feeling terribly sick eughhh!! Hope I haven't missed much? Just watching Dancing on Ice, not very keen on the duel thing! Hope everyone's well and had a lovely Sunday :) xx

Hope you feel better soon Fudge. I really can sympathise as I get terrible migraines and know how awful they are.
Do you take prescription migraine meds? I take Imigran 50 when they are really bad and find that usually helps.
I've been trying various migraine prevention treatments for a few months now and have at last found something that's working without any awful side effects.
I'm on Epilim, an Epilepsy med and have not had a proper migraine for nearly a month now...had headaches, but ones I can shift using normal over the counter stuff without having to resort to the Imigran.
Worth investigating if you get reccurring migraines and are not on any treatment plan as they are so debilitating :(
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.

Your taste buds will change. Years ago I gave up chocolate and most things that contained sugar for about 4 years. When I decided to try chocolate again it was revolting and left an unbelievable sugary coating in your mouth that took ages to get rid of.

Keep going you are doing well. :)

Thank you, that's what I am hoping.

no malice intended ....maybe i was talking subconsciously to myself ;)

Don't worry I wasn't at all offended. Actually I probably could just about loose 4 stone, but I dont have any ambition to be a size zero!!
Sending lots of get well wishes to snap-ants dad.

Hope you are feeling better now. I get the occasional migrane and my mum gets lots, so I know how you feel.
