My amazon was evicted from his previous owners flat for screeching to loud.

Put me in a cage next to a radiator on full blast, next to a closed window, probably would screech a bit myself, had him/her for 18 months now.

Only screeches when i'm eating chips as he/she like them and kebab bread.

:D You will have to post a pic of he/she .

fingers crossed for this . In the scheme of things 12 months isn't a long time and many things can be achieved .
so with some self belief and support from people who matter I can't see that there will be a problem with the goal of showing the new HC in 12 months ....it' won't be easy but it's doable .

as some wag siad ...' giving up is easy ,I've done it 5 times ' .

stick to your guns and you'll both get there .

note to self ; take your own advice ;)

    Wise words there.
I've been on SW for 5 days, and I won't lie it is hard. I have plenty to eat, but there is no getting round the fact that low fat and low sugar food does not taste as good.

I just keep thinking even loosing 1 pound a week would make me almost 2 stone lighter, which would do me fine!

Off to dish up the dinner and then settle down to Dancing on ice, then later watch TOWIE (Really embarrassing myself now but I love it!:o:o:o)

I'm glad you mentioned it, I didn't know there was a new series of Towie on :D

Your evenings viewing sounds like mine, except I am recordeing 'Hughs hungry boys' to fit in as well. Channel 4 plus 1 at 8pm, if anyone missed it earlier.

Jayne and Chris just danced to one of fave songs. brings back holiday memories, I was playing it on my ipod as we sailed past Iceburgs!

*ETA* I meant to say ...1 pound a week FOR 6 MONTHS would be almost 2 stone!

I've been in Crawley (5 mins from Gatwick) for quite a while now. Born in Glasgow (hence the username) a long time ago. Think I might be even older than that Chappy fellow!!;)

Just to let you all know i reported the other day that i had found "lynx Africa" gift sets with full size body spray and shower gel going through the tills at £1.25, well today i found another "Lynx Excite" gift sets with the same in them also going through the tills at £1.25.

Also just to say thank you to the OP who posted about the remote controlled cars, i picked up one today that had a half price£15 sticker on it - needless to say it went through the till at £30, so i now have a pressie for my friends grandson for his birthday on tuesday -:beer::beer:
