that's the attitude debsjc ,in 1 year 2 stone lighter ..in 2 years 4 stone lighter . ;)

True, but I don't need to loose 4 stone. It's a good point though, it could be done :)

:D You will have to post a pic of he/she .

Will do, have to have house clear before letting out of cage, not much a people bird (yet).

He/she will take chips and fruit from my hands but I don't trust it one bit to not bite me, has made several attempts and is very sneaky.

Can say pear and chip ( not at the same time lol)

    Wise words there.
I've been on SW for 5 days, and I won't lie it is hard. I have plenty to eat, but there is no getting round the fact that low fat and low sugar food does not taste as good.

I just keep thinking even loosing 1 pound a week would make me almost 2 stone lighter, which would do me fine!

Your taste buds will change. Years ago I gave up chocolate and most things that contained sugar for about 4 years. When I decided to try chocolate again it was revolting and left an unbelievable sugary coating in your mouth that took ages to get rid of.

Keep going you are doing well. :)
Something unexpected happened which made me smile and still continues to make me smile.

I've been in Crawley (5 mins from Gatwick) for quite a while now. Born in Glasgow (hence the username) a long time ago. Think I might be even older than that Chappy fellow!!;)

Thats where I will be soon, visiting f-i-l :)

Crawley eh , that's where Snap Ant was born , Gossops Green .

I think there are quite a few older posters than the Chappy fellow . ;)
Really? I lived in Gossops Green way back in 1990!

Crawley's most recent claim to fame? No, not Gatwick Airport, or getting so far in last year's FA Cup, or Alan Minter or Daley Thompson or the acid bath murderer, oh no, infamous for the wonderful and incredibly talented Chico Slimani of X Factor and Dancing on Ice fame!!
