The Tesco advert have got it so wrong
'Shopping online is just the same as shopping in store, except you don't need you car'
No, no, no - Do they not realise how many calories I burn off checking every aisle for 1p items, dashing back and forward to the price check scanner, and the sport of extreme Wombling!
The first time I saw that ad I said outloud (to myself!) "yeah but when you go to the store you don't miss out a third of your shopping or substitute oranges for kitchen towel" :rotfl:No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2023

May i ask a q to hc please?
I have, well OH has a mac book that i can use sometimes, but stick to ipad.
We have a hp wireless printer connected to both
I need to scan something from the printer so i can then email it on.
Is it possible to scan it to the ipad? If not, how do i do it using the mac book? I try not to use it for fear of breaking it!
I've got an official Epson App on my iPad/iPhone and have it all set up wireless. All I have do to is place what I want scanned in the scanner, open the app and press scan and hey presto, it's on my iPhone/iPad to do as I please with.
Have a look to see if there is an HP app? Failing that is your printer an apple approved 'Air Print' printer? if so you need to locate the Air Print app on the MacBook.
Or, look for the HP software (in the apps folder on Snow Leopard or Launchpad on Lion but this only works if your OH has put the software in the correct place.) and one of the programmes in there should be something to do with the scanner. I can't be more precise because we have different printers and I've never needed to scan anything in to Mac.

Love it when i read about the peeps on here saving all the abandoned animals. :j
My amazon was evicted from his previous owners flat for screeching to loud.
Put me in a cage next to a radiator on full blast, next to a closed window, probably would screech a bit myself, had him/her for 18 months now.
Only screeches when i'm eating chips as he/she like them and kebab bread.Back to square one, no apg, no comment.0 -
