Had a no spend day today, went to my bestfriends for a chat and let the girls play together. Also found a 20p next to my car when I parked so I am have actually gained money
(is it wrong to still be happy finding money in the street?!)
Cooking pork loins for dinner which I bought from Tescos yesterday from the reduced shelf (3 huge loins for £2.00 probably too much meat for the two of us!) and they smell yummy with the roast potatoes.
Only just over 4 weeks left of maternity leave, feeling a bit sadMtg May 2011 - £127,500/825610% CC - £2211/2211Argos Card 0% - £253.95/208.950 -
Well done on the ebay sales, i thought it might be quiet this time of year but people I know seem to selling successfully on there. Good luck with the fruit/veg growing, I am still toying with the idea but am rubbish at keeping an eye on things and they don't thrive!
Ouch at going back after maternity leave, are you going back on reduced hours?June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -

Yeah I'm only going back 3 days a week, but as I commute for nearly two hours its like a 12 hour day! I'm not planning on doing it for long... maybe baby no2 wont be too long so I can take another year offMtg May 2011 - £127,500/825610% CC - £2211/2211Argos Card 0% - £253.95/208.950 -
I count myself lucky I don't commute. My work is a 5-7 minute drive if traffic lights go in my favour!
Re: your survey sites. I find some are quicker/better earners than others. I could refer you to GTM if you want? I got to payout at least 3 times last year (£32 ish) each time. My last payout was just before Christmas and I am 5 points off payout again. (Your referral would help me hit payout too!) I do Toluna but tend to stick to the quick surveys as it frustrates me so much getting screened out!

I'm signed up to GTM but have been screened out of every survey I've done! Got a bit frustrated and havent tried them much recently. Similar with Toluna, I like the instant credits but they are good that they have loads of surveys available to try. Still like Valued Opinions the best at the moment - earned £1.50 this morning in 30mins on two surveysMtg May 2011 - £127,500/825610% CC - £2211/2211Argos Card 0% - £253.95/208.950 -
Just had a rather excellent telephone call from my manager at work. It is bonus time and I wasnt expecting anything as I was only there 5 months and the economic environment, but as I did some important projects in the first half of the year, they have awarded me a whopping £1500!!! much more than I ever expected!
:j:D:j:D:j It is really nice that my work appreciates the hard work I put in, and I do really enjoy my job, but its such a difficult pull going to be away from my little girl for 3 days a week (12 hour days)

Back from weekly shop at Aldi - £32.65 so again slashing my food budget, aiming for £50 per week! I do still have to pop into the local butchers tomorrow to pick up some beef for a stew, but thats it!Mtg May 2011 - £127,500/825610% CC - £2211/2211Argos Card 0% - £253.95/208.950

Wow!! That's a good bonus! That's half your target if you overpay the mortgage!!0 -
Yeah but I will have to pay tax on that & I have to stick something in saving as I have very little at the moment!
Just looked at my ebay listings, I've got three left, one item has 0 bidsbut the two dresses bidding has started
both have 3 bids each with 2 days to go, and 16/12 people watching, so hopefully there will be a bit of a war at the end
