Head on a boat, body would love to follow in the event the boat is somewhere warm and cost free.
Finger nails are disgraceful I will have to attack them tonight and turn them into a slightly less ugly affair. I suppose I ought to investigate the toes too, as they are not on show I tend to forget them.
Sorted all presents for taking to family this weekend and wrapped them, just have to write cards and sort those out.
now if I can just find a fab job, £35k and a mooring for this boat in my head life would be perfectStart info Dec11

Head back on boat, dreading tomorrow and work and vagaries of boss mood this week. My heart is racing and that with head on boat feeling means I feel quite sick tonight.

Well my head is still on this blinking boat, I wish it would hurry up and get to where it needs to be so it can get off. Always starts about lunch time, so I have the misleading happenstance of morning being fine and then by the time I get to 4pm I am knackered and really feeling quite grotty.
DH is driving me mad ATM - little or no effort on the debts side, and I am torn between leaving him to it or sorting it all out myself. He came back from running an errand for me an announced he will be purchasing himself a new toy soon he thinks he will spend about £700 on it!!! Quite where this is going to come from is anyone's guess.
Work is well work really. Boss keeps being super super super super super nice to me (suspicious to say the least) and today asked me where I was going - apparently I am all dressed up. I am wearing a new to me skirt in hot pink in a vain attempt to not wear all black (but black tights, top and cardi complete the outfit) but would not say I was OTT for the office ..... I just asked him where else I was supposed to be and left it at that.
I have done all my Christmas shopping, I just have to finish the gift for Grandma and all is then done, packed and sorted.
I have decided I need to overhaul my "beauty" regime, as in create one. My eyes are sunk in the back of my skull and my skin is dry, blotchy and uneven I just about manage mascara which seems to flake off my eye lashes so I am considering the whole eye lash tint and actually getting some make up lessons. It may make me feel a bit better. Am off to the gym tonight to burn some calories and get some toning going, I took last week off with this head on a boat thing , now I think kill or cure time!
Aside from all the Christmas spending I have managed to snaffle a bit of money earmarked for presents into the slush fund, good for the mind balance for me anyway.
Right back to put nose on grindstone like a good little pit pony and churn out some more work.Start info Dec11

Try a BB cream it's great for masking all sorts and a spot of mascara and a dash of lip gel it will make all the difference.Living the dream and retired in Cyprus :j

I tint my own lashes, you can buy the kit from B00ts for about £8. I get at least six sessions out of each box. It looks just as good as the salon job and much cheaper!
Sorry you're still head on a boat, have you had it checked out, could be a combination of sinus problems and air conditioning in the office.

Sorry BB cream is a tinted moisturiser which really does give a lovely easy even coverage especially if you are not used to makeup. Garner give away 3 free sample sachets and a sachet does 3 days look them up online http://www.loreal-paris.co.uk/_en/_gb/minisites/revitaliftbb/index.aspx
Body shop do a lovely one as well as do other places.
I just slap some of that on put some mascara and lip gloss and its amazing how many people have said how well different younger I look as I haven't worn any makeup for about 12 years. It gives me a boost when I look in the mirror. I am 57 and haven't aged too well and my skin has really responded well. End of the day I just clean all off with a wet wipe.Living the dream and retired in Cyprus :j

OK so the plan for Saturday am is to go to town and get my beauty regime sorted.
Wet wipes for removal of stuff from face and apparently the Sanctuary facial oil is the business (and on offer) sister has been using and says it is fast easy and nice
So plan is at night time actually remove ick and put on nice smelly stuff
also eyelash tint kits (can't be so hard to do can it? I suspect I am going to be a panda to begin with but hey, worth a go) means I can forget about replacing the dodgy mascara I am currently using, and chuck that!
The BB cream I am going to have to think about as I tried the 0lay one but it went peculiar on my skin and almost flaked off? Like it dried too much.
Am now off to hunt free samples and vouchers for the above. I have always used a good daily moisturizer with sunscreen so if the BB cream comes with sunscreen then it might be a straight swap - regime sorted and hopefully will be a bit more long lasting that current attempts, as in make it past lunch!
