Thank you my lovely pals, my darling Capt S is treating me to a slap up lunch at one of our favourite haunts, a riverside pub where the food is superb, smashing.

It's a beautiful day here Lyn, blue sky and sunshine, lifts the heart to see although it also means that I can see all those doggie nose smudges on the windows, ho hum that's for another day

You're blessed dearie, nose smudges are a gift.....mind you I'm one who thinks if you don't have muddy pawprints somewhere on your apparel you're not fully dressed!!! Told you I was odd!!! xxx.

I'm amazed at how quickly it's happened, it's been 108 days and my BMI today is 25.8, I have .8 to go which translates to 2.8 kilos in real money to get to BMI25, to say I'm pleased is somewhat of an understatement!!!

Aw happy birthday Lainey. The perfect way to spend the day. Enjoy and relax.

Lyn I don't understand how, with essentially a low fat diet, your cholestoral is now an issue. Could Ruthie shed any light about it? Well done you. I've started to subtlely remove butter from sandwiches for the family (no one has commented yet) and dropped the milk to semi skimmed although I'm still having full fat for my kefir milk. Change is afoot albeit slowly.

I would love to see garden pics if anyone wanted to share. I can imagine but nothing quite like a picture. Remember I was a bit low because I hadn't seen any snowdrops because I hadn't been out walking for a while Lyn? I have some in my new little front garden.

Day two of cupboard install. Poor DH. It has to be precise in a wonky old house. He's made a cupboard before but the pressure is on this time. The best bit though? DH now has my dad's old joinery tools from the back of the cupboard from when we cleared Mam's house. I used to be Dad's shadow as a kid so know all these bits of kit, can name them and tell DH (even though he knows) what they do. All from being about 6 years old. Pretty cool

Lastly we no longer own Mam's house. The sale went through on Friday. Time to move on my friends. The bad bits are gone, I'm left with only the good bits now eh?

Fuddle - I'm so pleased you're in you're new home! (And glad you're moving on form your Mums house sale too - bittersweet but necessary). The photos of the girls room are great. My two had beds like that and loved them (I wasn't so keen on trying to climb up to change them so that became their job).
