Sadly I don't do alcohol in any shape or form, may I raise a reciprocal toast of gladness to be back and appreciation of my friends in good well brewed Darjeeling TEA? my tipple of choice along with sparkling water, well iced and with a slice of lemon if I have a cold drink, you're a good bunch and I'm so glad you're my friends xxx.0

Well we are glad you are our friend and so pleased to have you back with us.
I don't drink either, but my tipple of choice is still water with a dash of lime and ice

Good morning everyone!
lainey hope they sort your mum out quickly, and that she feels better soon.
mrslurcherwalker*waves* hello, lovely to see you back.
Sort i haven't posted in a while. I've had a bad week, took on too much and had a setback. Had a severe panic attack in public while I was alone and its knocked my confidence in my recovery (from PTSD). Had an awful time getting a GP's appointment, so now I have to go and tell a GP I have never met about the cause of the PTSD, which is far from easy, and get my medication checked, and i dare say increased.
So my aim for today is productivity! Lol!
Son is still asleep. I think he will miss his swimming lesson now, but he's not a sleep late kind of boy so I hes still in the land of nod then he needs it. Hes all his life to be getting up early!
Have good weekends all

Oh yes, I've been reading along every day and keeping in touch with folks by pm and generally staying in the loop without posting. I've missed being able to chat in real time very much and am pleased to be back where I feel comfy.I hope it's NOT an addiction although I must admit it is a pleasure in my life and I've formed some very real and warm friendships because of MSE which I'll always be grateful for.0

Mrs L good to 'see' you back with us again. You have been missed honey
Weather is gorgeous here at the moment and I'm just waiting for my washing machine to finish spinning and I'll get the washing out on the line shortly
Just a 'pottering around' day today which I always enjoy.I will shortly have a game of freezer tetris and see what I can find for dinner tonight. I made a round a litre of celery soup this morning with left over celery as I am going away next Friday on my holidays so I am using up what I have in store instead of buying anything in.I found a Birds pack of semolina in the cupboard last night and made it up and half was had as my pudding with dinner last night and the other half I will have tonight. It s was dated 2015 but tasted OK to meand I'm still here:) Saved me thinking of buying a dessert in.
Tomorrow I go to DDs for lunch and dinner as my DGS Ben is home from extra work he has done up in Norwich. He will be home now until he goes back to Uni in September.
Hope everyone is all OK and enjoying some sunshine

Hello everyone, such a lovely day here with DD1, we had a quiet morning and watched some of the Olympic Opening ceremony and enjoyed it immensely for the sheer colour and vibrant enjoyment of everyone who was taking part, wonderful spectacle for a low budget event and the Olympic Cauldron with the moving sculpture is absolutely beautiful, well done Rio! We went out for lunch and ended up in Chiminchanga, the Mexican restaurant where we had vegetarian burritos, delicious food and some very nice coffee too then on to the cinema for the latest Star Trek movie again well worth viewing, spectacular cinematography and a cracking good story line too, great stuff! Back home now and having a cuppa and Nell has her foot up and resting as it's a bit puffy again and a little sore. I'll make sure she stays off it for the rest of the day and has an easier day tomorrow. Beautiful warm and sunny weather all day too so all in all we're content, Lyn xxx.0
