I won't know more until tomorrow but I think they might be letting ex-changes be done again soon.

No but there is usually a size guide in all catalogues and websites that give the measurement in inches/cms.

Which in my experience is way off the mark. For example, I recently bought some trousers online. The size guide said that for my waist size (32"), I was a size 16, but I'd read on MSE that the clothes often came up large, so I ordered a 14 which was supposed to be a 30" waist.

When they arrived, they were massive. I measured the waist and they were 34"!

Buying clothes online is a minefield and you can't trust the size guides at all.

The Company you bought them from is now in admin. and that changes everything...you ordered the wrong size and they delivered it? You got what you ordered and I suspect no refund or exchange will happen.

Why do some people read what they want to read and not what is written? I have already stated very clearly I got what I ordered. NO I did NOT order the wrong size. I am a size 10. I ordered two t-shirt tops in a size 10 and they are really very baggy around the underarms.

Out of choice, I also ordered a jumper in a size 8 because some size 8s do fit me and it was a loose fitting top. They didn't have the same top available in a size 10. Unfortunately it is too tight on me. That's not Peacocks fault - it's just bad luck on my part.

Absolutely, but it's an unwritten rule that when we buy clothes online or in a store, their size might not fit our size and so where possible, we ought to try them on before purchasing. That's because some people who are say, size 14, are very tall and relatively slim. Other people who are a size 14 might be shorter and a little larger. It's about finding one particular retailer's sizes which match yours very well. For me, no jeans fit me anything like as nicely as jeans from Next. They're more expensive than shops like New Look or George etc, but I'd rather pay more money for clothes that fit me really well. It's luck of the draw and just the way things are. It doesn't mean other places clothing is the wrong size. It just means it doesn't fit your body shape very well. Everybody is a different shape and size so clothes which fit me perfectly will be a poor fit on others, and vice versa. I am stating the obvious here, but it needed to be said.

Ok as far as I know if you have bought the item with in 28 days you can now do an exchange only, no refund no refund cards just a exchange, so I'm sure if you go to you local store tomorrow they will be happy to exchange any items you have bought in the last 28 days.

This is only due to KPMG changing their minds tonight, I think they had been swamped with calls from angry people lol.

Thank you very much. I'll go down there tomorrow and see what they say and will report back. Didn't get chance to get to the bank today. Damn legs don't work.

a last ditch attempt maybe a family member/friend that knows your tight money situation might be able to make use of them and pay you for them in full? I've had something similar happen before and my mum gave me the full amount for it as it fit her, bless her.

Again, not been able to get into town due to health difficulties. I've heard on the news that Peacocks is out of danger and that they might be accepting returns. Is anybody able to verify this please?

As far as I know they're now worse off as they're no longer accepting gift cards/vouchers that people got over Xmas.
