Again, not been able to get into town due to health difficulties. I've heard on the news that Peacocks is out of danger and that they might be accepting returns. Is anybody able to verify this please?

    Returns

With immediate effect, goods with a valid receipt will be accepted for exchange if those goods have been purchased within the previous 28 days from a Peacocks store in the UK. If the exchange item is of a lower price, no refund will be given for the difference either by way of a cash refund or refund card.

The customer may have an unsecured claim against the Company in respect of such goods that are defective, and have been purchased before 19 January 2012. Please submit any such claim addressed to the Joint Administrators, FAO Deirdre Cox, KPMG, Arlington Business Park, Theale, Reading, RG7 4SD.

The Company will NOT in any circumstances refund unwanted goods, whether these were purchased before or after 19 January 2012.

This does not affect your statutory rights.

Hi Munkee2, I notice the above talks about goods bought from a store and I notice you bought your on-line. Have you give your local store a call?

I'm glad to hear there might be a chance for you though :-)
I've pretty much written off the giftcard :-(

I've been into town today and DIDN'T take the clothes with me (talk about bad organisation). They said they CAN do exchanges but not refunds.

When I went into my local store, the CSA got all stroppy (understandably) and told me to look on the website as they can't do exchanges or refunds.

I guess it depends on the store!

Here, no refunds but exchanges are allowed, doesn't mention about online purchases though.
