Got married at 18, OH 19, and we had known each other for 6 months. What were the odds :rotfl:
Not all plain sailing
Not sure where all the time has gone tho
Well done :T. I hope you have many more happy years together.

There was I worrying about my DS who has just got married. He is only 22 and they've been together 4 1/2 years. I guess there's hope for them yet.0 -

Payday today :j
OH and his pal headed off on their fishing adventure this morning  There will be a few of these I expect :rotfl:
Sorted out buildings and contents insurance, and did a pile of ironing - now there's two jobs I have been putting off :rotfl:
Went to pick up grand-daughter no.1 with DD2, as she is having her to stay for a couple of days. I think they have gone to the cinema now, and I will take them both out for lunch tomorrow, and then they can go shopping while I meet up with my student
Did a load of washing and dried on the line
Bought a new mop head as mine had disintegrated (the glamour!) :rotfl:but apart from dusting a tray and some decanters, that is as far as I have got with the housework
Must try harder!
Also bought a few bits of fruit and veg.
Took up the offer of a local cleaning company to clean 2 carpets for £19. They said they will come on Thursday. I only have carpets in the bedrooms and on the landings and stairs, but remembered my brother dropping chilli sauce all up the lower stair one (when new ) which has left a couple of slight stains, and the dog weeing on the one in the small spare bedroom. She is no longer allowed upstairs - she wouldn't dream of weeing downstairs on the hard floors where it would be easy to clean up :rotfl:So, although I obviously cleaned up these disasters at the time, it will be good to see whether a professional clean will bring them up like brand new again
Right, better take the dog out for a walk as it looks as though it is thinking about raining again

Rainy morning

Got up early to put the bin out (my glamorous life
)
Had Greek yogurt, banana, meusli and honey for breakfast (yummy)
Lunch with DD2 and GD1 today, then off to see student
Before that I need to:
Comment on said student's work
Put ironing away
Start housework
Think what to do with a surfeit of courgettes (ideas welcome
) 0 -
Belated congratulations on the 40th Wedding Anniversary ~ that's Ruby isn't it??
Courgettes ~ ratatouille, courgette & stilton soup, stuffed & baked courgettes, ribboned courgettes (made with potato peeler) then boiled or steamed & used as 'tagliatelle' instead of pasta & have with pesto??'A watched potato will never chit'...0
