    Morning all

Stay safe Kerri on your journey, watch out for them snowmen, men are such s!#t's

Well I had yet another argument with Mr M's last night!!!!! Quite awhile ago I noticed their value range was
    a) running out all the time
    b) didn't have much shelf space

So I complained and was given a load of !!!! about they had had some, would have some tomorrow etc etc

Now I never have a go at the assistants as they are poor hardworking peeps who are just doing as they are told, I always nab the duty manager (poor Jeremy, not) Anyway I got 2 free pack of dig@stives last night because for the second week in a row they had no saver ones

Usually it takes me not being able to get a second item on my list to rile me :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: but I have got to a total of 7 items unable to get. As I say to the manager I could be a mystery shopper from HQ, I could be the CEO's wife or I am known to resort to If I don't tell you how bad it is you could be loosing customer to Mr S's, just think I am keeping you on the straight and narrow

All done tongue in cheek but I do get fed up of not being able to buy their value range because I have to shop after work

So far I have had lots of free bread (frequently) and free biscuits (more frequently) :D It does pay to complain, all be it very nicely and argue your point, mostly on how bad it makes the store look

Anyway I did get some Utt@rly Butter for my store and some C@mpbells rice which was on offer at 32p but had a voucher for 20p  so 12p

Off to make a D Ru~~ell order now, showed to OH last night and was very surprised I expected him to balk at the price but he didn't :j:j:j

Think I am going for the steaky offer at £29 and the beef joint/brisket at £11, am tempted on the mince but not sure if I will use it, although OH said he only hates it because it's so greasy and I told him what you all said and he said to give it a try but that makes my order

    Sorry waffling :D:D

Added a bit more to my store cupboard today, bulk purchase of 12 x disinfectant and 8 x kitchen rolls.

Also added and extra £10 into my second purse from my GC money as the bulk buys were too good to miss and there wasn't enough in my second purse.
    !

    Thanks elizabunny!

If you can tell us where the offer is and how much in big, bold or bright colours (so it doesnt get missed), some clever person will be able to update the offers at the start of the
    thread! :T

Hello ladies-finally caught up with the thread. I have cerebral palsy so also struggle with hip and back issues. Its amazing how many of "us" there are on MSE.

I was on weight watchers before I got pregnant and did really well,so Ill be going back as soon as Ive had my 6 week check up.

As for second purse-Ive been transferring money from our household account into a "save the change account-so Im letting the two mix and I currently have just over £30 in it and my stock it worth £93.

The other day I went to MrS and got 2x4.5kg's of surf washing powder for £12,3 400g Nutella down fron £1.90 to £1.26 Some more penguins:27 pack half price at £2.Lenor fabric softener:1.4l/40 washes-usually 3.37 down to £2. Mr S thick bleach" for £1.20 usually 87p.

I placed an order with home bargains too but its not arrived yet so will let you know when it arrives.

We have a dulche gusto coffee maker and so far have been getting pods from th rainforest for just a few pennies less than the SM'S,but I would love to bring it down more-anyone seen any?

ETA:Im also kicking myself as Ive noticed inside the formula boxes I buy for DS2 (C&G follow on milk for years) have all got £1 Mocs for the 2-3 year old one
.Hes not likely to move on to the 2 year old one,but I accidentally bought a follow on from 6 months and as you cant exchange formula I decided to open it-and there was a MOC for the 1-2 year olds-and sods law, DD is breastfeeding.
  • Hi you say that your white cell count is low - the white blood cells are a major part of your immune system and if these are low you won't be able to fight off infections effectively. In other words, the low white cell count is one of the main reasons why your immune system is poor. Also if your iron is low, you could possibly be anaemic? If you are anaemic, again your immune system will be affected and also this will make you feel tired. You could possibly try and eat more red meat for iron, bananas for potassium (if you can eat these things) and take a multi vitamin tablet?? The doctor should really be trying to find out why your white cell count and iron levels are low.

I get IBS, as I know a lot of people on this thread seem to have. I have worked out I can't eat bread, anything with yeast, citrus fruits, oats and most other grains, pulses including lentils, cous cous, and I'm not very good with sweet stuff like cakes, milk/white chocolate etc or alcohol. I can eat 75% cocoa chocolate though thank goodness! I seem to eat a lot of rice, potatoes, meat, dairy produce, nuts and loads of vegetables, salad and fruit - then I'm OK and now I hardly seem to get any infections either :) whereas I used to get loads, especially stomach bugs.

    hi mrs ats :)

I asked if more tests could be done to establish if there was a reason why it was so low and was told they'd done all the blood tests they could ( i was in there last year nearly every month for several) then she told me that it had always been pretty low and asked if i'd been told this before. WHich obviously i hadn't *derrrr* so they wouldn't do anything else. I'm always ill though or have a cold and my diet has never been really bad?! I've always been borderline anaemic too but the tablets play havoc with my tummy and they don't prescribe spatone, and i can't afford it anymore  Am def trying to cut down on the stuff i know causes my ibs though, see if that may help xx

I'm off on the 160 mile trek to Cardiff in a minute, although currently not answering the phone to my OH after he said there's no point him coming to stay for 2 weeks before he goes to Canada for 4 months as I'll be at work. He hasn't taken into account the fact I will be at home for 6hrs in the evening before bed, or that he's not seeing me for 4 months. I'm feeling really hurt.

So... taking 2 creme eggs out of the store at 50p each (paid £2.75 for 12). One for on the way there, one for the way back and going to take a bottle of tap water so will owe the purse 99p as I always buy a bottle for the journey.

I'm not going to be online for much of this weekend, so if you spot a bargain please either post it in bold or update the spreadsheet, preferably the spreadsheet as everyone can see it better then :) Have lovely weekends x

  •, I've managed to confuse myself this week!

I think this is where I am...

Amount in purse last time I posted: £1.50

    Purchases (cat food, coffee, ketchup
    all big sizes from c0stc0): - £24.77

    Stock 'bartered' (toothpaste
    and capuccinos): £2.50

    Money now owed by 2nd
    purse to grocery budget: -£20.77

When I do my grocery shop tomorrow, I will need to allow for £6.00 weekly charge for cat food, toilet rolls, coffee etc etc, so 2nd purse will look a bit healthier, but still won't be in credit :o. Ah well, as long as it balances out during the month, I think that will be ok.
