Sorry about my rant everyone, sometimes I just get one on me and with me worrying about DD today it just all came out :(

I can only eat very limited diet of food anyway, and having a rediculous phobia of taking tablets makes medication hard, plus with the fact DD is at home all day, anything that can cause drowsiness is a nono, things that cause bowel/stomach problems are a nono so the drs have pretty much given up with me I think. Had a very interesting letter from the specialist last time I saw him basically saying he was amazed I got out of bed each day and trying to increase my daily activity at all would have dire concequences on my rubbish health and the lives of my kids :o . . . I sent it to the ESA :rotfl:

    Quick update on 2nd purse:

Taken from stock: 1 x surf (42 washes) paid £4- paid back £4 to second purse (just the difference as i bought out of Grocery budget not second purse money!)

1x Lenor -paid £2 was reduced by £1 so i paid the £1 into second purse (again was bought out of grocery budget before i started this)

    2x soup - £1 to second purse
1x box of 4 smoothies for kids- £2

So £8 in to the second purse which brings the total to £24.92 so far :) nearly 1 quarter of the way to £100 wahey!

From my te$co shop the other day I now have 5 flora buttery's (500G) was BOGOF. I took one out for this month and the rest i will buy back :)

Also the rice & spaghetti i took out what was needed for this month and stock piled the rest ready to be bought back

I had to borrow a £1 out of my third purse today after having to barter with Miss Lily at the doctors to show her spots in return for a iced doughnut from the bakers, unfortunately when I got into the bakers I realised I had to change except for the 3rd purse :(

I just wanted to ask if anyone has seen any colour catchers? Doesnt matter if it Vanish or Dr Browns.

Funnily enough, I was pricing them up this morning!

I am trying to find Dr Beckmann Dirt & Colour Catcher clothes (one cloth you use up to 30 times) but they are few and far between.

Sainsburys have Dylon Colour Catchers, 20 sheets for £2.90.

Wilkinsons also have them for (I think) the same price.

They sell a cheap version in the 99p shop and Savers.....not AS good, but okay.

I am still using the ones I bought on offer last year but will post if I see another deal.

If anyone sees the Dr Beckmanns on offer:-

please give me a shout! :D

Not sad at all - Its my guilty pleasure - I go and look at my little "shop" with its prices and smile - though may have gone a little mad - I bought some toilet rolls (ok - 54) - aswell as the 24 already in stock!! - hubby rolled his eyes when I made him put them in the loft - said they would add insulation!!!! Maybe this is going to become compulsive....... Well, we'll need them bearing in mind all the beans we have to get through!!!
    I'm not a failure if I don't make it, I'm a success because I :tried!

I have been reading the thread but I really must start posting...

I spent £15.70 from my second purse when I started but have not used it since.

I have bought a few things from my store and am keeping a list to pay 2nd purse from purse one.

so far I have bought items that I bought ages ago before I started the GC so have decided on a price for each item.

    so far I have

    4 pack beans £1.00
    shower gel £1.00
    pasta sauce £1.00
    spaghetti 50p
    WU liquid 50p
    2 x choc bars £1.00

I am trying to balance between making a profit but not spending all my GC

jakes mum how are you working your 2nd and 3rd purses?

sorry to hear so many of you are unwell
