Just ran to the shop (shelves) it's the 340g box not sure if it's the biggest but it was the largest my Mr M's had

I'm not sure when it finishes I noticed that quite a lot of offers in Mr M's are no longer sporting a date "offer ends" now !!!! I think it's another way of getting you to spend more, making you think it's only on offer for a week

:j:j:j They are the big boxes :j:j:j

My dad has duitfully been dispatched to the local Mr M (ok he was going anyway for the wine deal but it sounds much more dramatic this way) and asked 'how many do you want?' looked a bit surprised at the response of 'just clear the shelf' :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I wandered into Mr T today to see if there were any good offers for my second purse.

Didn't buy any food but did come out with a pair of jeans, two vest tops and a pair of knee-high boots for £9.50 :rotfl: :money:

  • I hate it when you go to supermarkets for the offers and they haven't got any left .

Flying-Fresian - that was good to get all those clothes for £9.50!

Well my DH has just noticed that the stashes of food are building up and asked if I was preparing for a siege :rotfl:. I explained very briefly that I now have a fund for bulk buying (not the details because he would lose interest half way through).

I used my DR diced beef for the 1st time yesterday - I did beef strogonof in the slow cooker, it was delicious and the meat was fabulous!! Have 2 more portions in the fridge and no room to freeze them :o

I have found that cheap diced beef seems to remain "chewy" in my slow cooker, no matter how long I cook it, but the DR stuff was soft as butter :D

I went for a walk with toddler grandson and got quite a few YS things that I needed anyway - including a big pork joint for £2.49 and a packet of back bacon (8 slices) for £1.00 (kicking myself for not buying more) at Mr C. Also got Mr T Ken Hom Chinese currys reduced to 79p from £3 something, nice seedy rolls reduced.

My freezer is positively bulging and I cannot get anything else in.......so MUST NOT look at YS stuff, because I cannot
    resist :rotfl:

I am still struggling to get to grips with catering just for me......

I made a delicous lasagne, smaller than normal obviously, but it still lasted me 3 days and since I had NO room in the freezer, I just had to keep eating it night after night ;)

Dont think I will be fancying lasagne for a while
    now :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I owe the SP some money so will settle up soon and post
my current £'s situation later :D

Sadly the £2.50 jeans are going back :( They fitted (which is very exciting as they're a size 12 and as you'll see from my signature it's been a long journey to get anywhere near that!) but didn't look right on so I'm returning them. Even for £2.50 I don't see the point in clothes I don't like :D

Had my first bolognaise using the DR mince last night - very tasty indeed! I still padded it out with lentils/oats as I normally do, but it was richer and very night indeed. So nice we're having it again tonight as I made vats of it :rotfl:
