I wrote a big post then it disappeared grr. Summary is that I think this thread is a massive eye-opened for those that don't already bulk buy, as you really get to see how much money the SMs were taking away from you. Obviously if you've been doing that for years then you're not going to see a massive difference, but at least the SP gives you focus

I've got 2 weeks before my next stocktake, I do it monthly when I get paid as I never have any money at the moment to be able to put it in week by week (because I spend it which I know is naughty but I'm new to budgeting ).

My fave is Rachels coconut but the Lidl one is silkier and doesnt have liquid leaking out when you start using it!

I am finding the Lidl one addictive :rotfl:

Have you tried soaking muesli overnight in runnier yog? I had that at Champneys (won break in a competition) - with fruit added (frozen is cheap) and then soaked overnight is lush!!

Ok no idea if anyones posted or even if its a good deal as I dont buy those yoghurt thingys but Mr T have the Yeo Valley whole milk organic 450g tubs on 2 fo £2.50 oe the Yeo Valley Organic Mild Creamy Natural 500g is on £1.25 a tub (i also think theres a £1 off £3 spend on yoghurts in the Mr T leaflet instore which according to the coupons thread can be used on any yoghurt purchase?)

Went to sm last night to get some 'bits' for dinner (can you see where this is going....?!)

Came home £36 lighter and not a lot to show for it :o:o I am exhausted at the moment and just picked up all sorts without thinking about what, let alone the prices

Think this is going to be a long-term re-education process

I think I'm going to have to do some spreadsheeting and a stocktake this weekend. I have naff all money until I get paid on Tuesday anyway

Well im back from my tesc0 shop, really wish I could go without DH as hes such a miserable so and so :rotfl:

anyway I managed to get £65.17 worth of food for £12.89

Managed that through combining bogof deals with coupons, clubcard vouchers, other coupons and a very handy DTD on 3 x 4 tins of baked beans (with 2 extra free) going through at £2.49 instead of £2 :j

Out of that £12.89 im going to deduct £4.50 for the baked beans and £4 for sausages for 2nd purse and donate everything else bought for 2nd purse, so actual cost to GB is £ 4.25

Wow that's brilliant :j- very impressive and I bet you're really happy with that! Oh hail the Queen of Shopping :rotfl:.

I've spent £13.17 in Mr S so am up to £45.02 for the week. I've only got a little bit more to get so will probably be around the £50 mark for the week which will be an achievement for me .
