Second Purse Challenge 2012
Comments

I just did a check of my spreadsheet, haven't worked out what I owe the SP yet for this month but will stocktake later.....but because I take everything and anything I get for a discount into account with the SP (I'd normally pay full price), I've worked out my totals are as follows:
Total Overall Stockpile Value: £ 1,095.93
Total Spent: £370.28
Saving: £725.65
Current stockpile value: £648.83
So in total I've saved myself £725.65 by shopping around, looking for the best deals, using vouchers. I know this takes into account contact lenses, ereaders etc... but I would have spent £149 each on those ereaders without giving it a second thought. Amazing! Thanks Mothership xx
That's amazing - well done !!Pay debt in 2012 #278 £2347/£5364

Still loving the SP system!! And good to see you back posting Mothership!
I owed SP some money for DR mince, Sultana Bran and teabags and have just settled up and now have:-
Second Purse £20 (that's my chosen level of float)
Third Purse £26 :j
Now I am just catering for myself, my purses will take a lot lot longer to grow and I was thinking that maybe I should drop out of the SP challenge.....but I am loving having a stockpile and the £46 in my purses, is £46 more than I had floating around before I started SPing, so think I will just carry on, slowly but surely0 -

...I haven't posted for a little while, but I am reading and learning everyday! It's good to hear we're not allowed to drop out
.
I'm all out of SP money and have only £19 in my GB to last to 30 March. I'm now using my stock FOC to subsidise my GB, but that's the beauty of the system :T. I bet the SMs wouldn't let me do that :rotfl:!
I've just been to B00ts though and have bought two Soft n Gentle deos on B1G1F - £2.65 for both. These are the 250ml ones. I'd wanted to get them with my points, but didn't have enough, so had to use my pocket money to buy them instead.
Everyone's doing really well and I love reading the posts!

Hello I've been reading this thread with interest it sounds like a good idea I might try some of the bulk buying. But what I really wanted to say was YES PLEASE to the recipe I've been looking for a good one for years. I wonder if you can use chocolate Philly in it?
Thanks

Nope you'll trot off to your shop and get them because an SPer is always prepared

No, sorry you're not allowed. Once an SPer, always an SPer I'm afraid

I've just put in a Mr T order using their £3 off £30 delivery code, and my £5 voucher I had
I've ordered 44 items apparently, no idea how it got that high haha. The delivery guy is going to think I'm mad though, look at my basket:
2 x ristorante pizza £4.50 (my faves)
7 x 250g butter £1.25 each
6 x 6 cake bars £2 for 2
6 x cloudy lemonade 54p each
2 x 4 x 410g tinned spaghetti in tom sauce £1.50 each
2 x 6 potato cakes 45p each
curly fries £1.70 (just fancied them)
10 x organic chopped toms 390g 50p each
2 x 2 mozarella burgers £1 each
3 x 450g yoghurt 3 for £3
3 x 6 x 1.5lt water £1.99 each
I'm hoping they're good deals, I'm a bit rubbish when it comes to food shopping and I did try to use mysuper for this as wellDiary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:
