ugh I went over budget lat week on my GB :( its all tesco's fault with their £7 off £50 spends :rotfl: Will do better this week :o spent £3 with SOS today for tonights dinner (more DR mince :D:D) now the decision, do I buy a taco kit as well from SOS or do I faf around with the G/F lasagne strips and make a lasagne  I'm tempted to go with the taco option even though its more money out of the GB, if I do lasagne, DD will want it and I have pre cooked carrots in the fridge she needs to eat with her roast tonight :rotfl: I cant throw them away

Jakes-mum - go for whatever doesn't involve the word "faff", even if it's a smidge more money spent ;)

I just did a check of my spreadsheet, haven't worked out what I owe the SP yet for this month but will stocktake later.....but because I take everything and anything I get for a discount into account with the SP (I'd normally pay full price), I've worked out my totals are as follows:
Total Overall Stockpile Value: £ 1,095.93
    Total Spent: £370.28
    Saving: £725.65
    Current stockpile value: £648.83

So in total I've saved myself £725.65 by shopping around, looking for the best deals, using vouchers. I know this takes into account contact lenses, ereaders etc... but I would have spent £149 each on those ereaders without giving it a second thought. Amazing! Thanks Mothership xx

Well do we feel that this is cheating :o decided to do tacos for tea, and took one out of the stock, went to update spreadsheet and it said I only had 1 in stock . . . and there was 2. So I havent added the cost to my GB or to the 2nd purse :o

I usually spend it on D Russell within minutes of getting it, but I'm going to try and save it for their next lot of offers, and see if I can get something different.

Just caught up on all the posts, Oh My! you are all doing so well. I am SO proud of you all.

My OH has found my @mazon boxes lol, I stuffed them in the cupboard under the stairs he he.

Yay! I managed to update my signature, and say a few thank you's .

I had a money off voucher for M@rris@ns, so managed to spend £41.66, but got loads, as you can see I've only got £17.54 left of my monthly GB.
I had money off vouchers for all the SM but didn't use them. I just used the M&S and M@rris@ns ones, there was a time when I'd have used all of them.

We have been eating out of the freezer and stores for the best part of the month, so I owe the 2nd Purse a fair bit.

    2nd Purse ££100

Yay welcome back Mothership :j:j- we've missed you too!

I always have trouble with my password on MSE. It has my name three times so go for one - doesn't work, so use the one at the top on next try - works every time! Don't know how to get rid of the two that don't work as not sure which is the one with the correct password - Have I confused you all yet?:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
When you were born, you were crying and everyone around was smiling. Live your life so at the end, you're the one who is smiling and everyone around you is crying!:rotfl:

  • Glad you are back Mothership we missed you :j.

Munchimuncha - yes slightly confused but that's not hard for me:rotfl:.

Jake's Mum - no it's not cheating :D - perhaps there is some breeding going on in your 2nd purse cupboard?? That would be good actually - save you a fortune :rotfl:.

Flying Fresian - your "Cupboard He's Not Allowed In" made me laugh! We don't have a cupboard, just places where things are stored which must not be moved!

Had to spend another £3.98 today as we had a sudden run on bananas and cheese so total weekly spend now £56.50 - I'm still happy with that :).
