Police have been and left a note on the car that is still there. Warning them it will be instantly towed if parked there again in the future.

I have to check when i'm up in the morning if it is still there. If it is the police will arrange for it to be towed by 10am (when i'm going out)! I just have to call the police by 8am so they can arrange it!

Here's me hoping it's still there in the morning now ;)

Great result tbh, I know so many of you's said the police don't have power/ won't do anything.. they have been great at helping me. :j woo!
    Thanks for all your help!

See if it's open and switch the lights on.
It'll still be there tomorrow then.

we have a front garden just grass and a dropped curb we very often found people have parked in front of are house and i know (i have checked) if they refuse to move i can call the police and have them moved

one day my husband and parked on the grass and loaded the car went in side to get something went back outside and someone had parked in front of the house so he couldn't get out the woman finally came out of the post office across the road he told her she cant park there as its a dropped curb she said oh she just went to the post office he pointed out the other side of the road was clear she came out with well I've lived in the village for 30 years i can park where i like

They are concerned and confused about it.

That shows if they are threatening

As has been pointed out they have no right whatsoever to even suggest this let alone threaten the car owner

What I would wonder, if you put it in the road and it gets a ticket or whatever then the owner could probably sue you for their costs to settle the tickets.

What is needed here are 4 wheely trays one under each wheel and wheel it out to the road then remove the wheely trays, don't know of any commercial product that would do the job though.

It's amazing the number of people who are advocating criminal acts to solve a civil problem.

They appear to have decided they have.

Maybe you should have pointed it out to them?

Having called the police in the beginning to complain about where it was originally parked, there is sufficient evidence for the owner to instigate a criminal investigation.

You lost me there. I meant that it has been pointed out in this thread that the police have no power to threaten to have the car removed. Maybe the policeman needs to re-read the laws.
