Penelope Penguin - great link
I love Gillian McKeith for some of the individual recipes, but have always been SERIOUSLY dubious about her credentials as a dietary advisor!

Penelope Penguin - I read that article in the paper this morning: it was extremely interesting! She always has come out with some strange info and the article certainly cleared a few things up for me0

Good evening everyone - I finally got to sit a the computer on my own. What a sad thread today, hope everyone feels better soon.
Toady we decided not to move house but to instead spend some money on putting the character back into or house. Doing things properly now we can afford it instead of cutting corners, e.g. fitting the proper tall skirting board and fitting coving in the extension to match the rest of the house. Also trying to find old doors to match the origional pattern and get rid of the B&Q moulded ones. It will cost a few thousand perhaps but still it will be much cheaper than moving.
I've made a list of 37 things we aim to do this year. What I would willingly do is hand said list over to a 'Mr/s fixit' and let them sort it all out an give me the bill at the end. Not money saving but sanity saving I'm sure.
Do such people exist? What do they call themselves so I can find one!
Good night all.Doing voluntary work overseas for as long as it takes .......
My DD might make the odd post for me0 -

I have had the most tremendous row with OH over said son, rent and where to try to move to, he shouted at me and threw the computer on the floor, I am afraid I lost my rag............am now suffering with a mamouth headache...why are men so bloody selfish, its all me,me,me, never thinks about what I might have to give up if we are forced to move into a one bedroomed flat.......gggggggggggggggggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr I am feeling very bloody minded just now...............think I am going to retire to bed.........
My son and OH have been a/holes too.
I am tempted to leave them both. I don't see why I should waste my life on them any longer. An average day in my life:hello: :mad: :coffee::coffee::coffee::T:rotfl: :rotfl:

loumac wrote:Hey all,
I haven't had a chance to read all of the thread yet but wanted to say hi to everyone that's feeling down. It's very wet and windy here and considering it's the first day of my holiday I'm not feeling that great either.
I know I shouldn't mope and don't want to add to the depression but I'm really suffering today as my beautiful cat died last night. He wasn't even 4 years old and was such a healthy, happy boy it has really shocked me. It didn't help that I watched him take his last breath and couldn't do anything to help. That was at 4 am this morning and as it happened on my bedroom floor I couldn't stay in my room and didn't manage to get back to sleep. I took him to the vets this morning and am waiting to hear from them so I can go and collect his ashes to scatter in my garden.
Again, sorry to bring everyone down but I just needed to get it all out and I know there are a few cat lovers on here who will understand.

Had a rotten evening
Our son is being spoilt by OH and my mother. I feel undermined by them both and it's making me tense.
I am being accused of being a bully and I trying to get some order but I am not getting any support.
We are selling our place and I am seriously tempted to leave them both. It is making me tense and irritable. They don't like me being that way but their behaviour is driving me nuts.An average day in my life:hello: :mad: :coffee::coffee::coffee::T:rotfl: :rotfl:
