I'm trying to think if I've seen chestnut puree on Aldi Specialbuy at any stage, I haven't seen it in the Christmas stuff.
I bought 2 copies of the M!rror to get a voucher for this week's shop (going tomorrow) and one for next week. The other money off vouchers are useful too; cheap cooking and luxury chocolate, mincemeat, icing sugar, paninis, F*x's biscuits, crisps, cake sprinkles, salt and pepper grinders, continental tarts.
Do remember to hand the vouchers over before your goods go through. It speeds things up.

I buy the sliced stuff with the gold crown symbol which shows it is made in the traditional manner - no preservatives, just pork legs and salt. Lidl has Parma ham (prosciutto) cheaper than Sainsbury's etc.
Most organic ham and bacon has nitrates to keep the colour (bacon without nitrate looks grey) so we prefer the prosciutto as we'd rather not eat them. We cut in slices and grill then snack or crumble for sauces and salads. We also wrap slices of prosciuttp straight from the packet around chicken legs before roasting mmm. OH likes prosciutto-Mozzarella-basil butties or prosciutto-Leerdammer cheese-mustard butties as well.0 -
I was just about to post over on the No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries thread about Aldi's Lacura Vitality 3 in 1 (cleanse, tone, moisturise) facial wipes, then remembered here.
30 generously sized wipes for 89p and they genuinely are the best I've ever used. I got the pink pack for mature skin, most mature skin products are a bit rich for me but these are brilliant. I saw them recommended in a magazine as a 'Best Buy' and they were right.
Fantastic value, lovely to use with a faint vanilla scent.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0 -
Aldi's specially selected Frozen venison steak are amazing, enough for four servings and for £6.99 a great buy.
I love most things from Aldi - so far I haven't liked their frozen peas or filled pasta, the rest is great and I have been shopping there now for 18 months.0 -
My local aldi has bird seed on offer just now, its 7.99 for 12.75 kilos. My mum usually gets the B and M bargains one for 12 quid for a similar weight so, good bargain for anyone who feeds local birds.0

I always buy the white and it's fine. I once picked up the green by mistake (the packaging is very similar) and we threw it away! No comparison, it just doesn't lather up the same."If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"0
