Foiled by Aldi silver foil.
Foil is nice and strong but cardboard cutting blade cannot cut it...
Actually someone should think up refillable foil dispensers with decent metal teeth built in.

Yes, I've found the same with a roll I bought recently!
Love the thickness of the foil but have to make a slight tear in it myself rather than rely on non-existent cutting edge. The low price does however compensate for the slight inconvenience.0 -
I bought a whole lot of products from Lidl today.
The standout, so far, are the 'Deluxe Sea Salt and Balsamic Vinegar Hand Cooked Potato Crisps'.
Compared to Kettle Crisps, these seem less hard, less oily. The Balsamic flavour is more subtle than many salt and vinegar crisps. But, I think they are really, really, nice.0 -

Just sampled the SS Marc de Champagne Christmas pudding from Aldi with the Cognac Brandy sauce and have to say, it's among the best I've ever tasted! Huge thumbs up from me0

Actually they do. Bacofoil do a dispenser for about £2.50.
The only place I have noted them in was Sainsburys. Could be on sale elsewhere.
I did prefer the old style of yesteryear when they did have a metal cutting edge. The cutting of the finger was fun.:DThe more I live, the more I learn.

Decided to do the christmas food shopping tonight and went into my local Asda. It was terrible, not a carrot, sprout, new potato or broccoli in sight
Went to Aldi (which i should have done in the first place) and got everything. Just as I was leaving a woman going in asked if they had any carrots, she had been to two other supermarkets, neither of which had anyYou're only young once, but you can be immature forever0
