According to the review here http://www.wineontrial.co.uk/toro-loco-tempranillo-aldi/ it's a Tempranillo
I always think that Aldi's basic Cotes du Rhone at £3 ?? is quite good, and they do a cheap Pinot Noir which is very drinkable.0 -

I cannot fault the mini stollen from Lidl or Aldi, but unfortunately have to give it a miss this year, because I am trying to lose weight:(0 -
I would also suggest that this is fantastic value from Aldi at £4.99 a bottle

When we used to travel to France regularly a few years ago, Costieres de Nimes was one of our "go to" red wines, because of its value, and also because of its baked cherry fruit flavours and soft tannins.0 -

No idea - but I would be interested to know why people always seem to approach Aldi/Lidl with such mistrust. No-one ever asks he question the other way round -
" Is the Sainsburys stollen any good.? I 've been meaning to buy one but dont kow whether to grab one from Sainsburys or Aldi"
And as everyones tastes are different the only way you are going to find out if YOU like the Aldi stollen is to buy one !
True, though I'm suspicious about any new food with my limited budget. Whereas I have tried the Sainsbury stollen before. Only one way to find out I suppose!Picking myself up and trying to stay standing0 -

I adore wine and have been known to be very picky! However, their Piont Noir is better than some £20 bottles. But dont tell anyone else locally otherwise I might run out! haha!

Good to know but t I think I'll give it a miss - with my luck I'd end up looking like this:
I don't really have a sweet tooth, but I reckon last year I severely dented Aldi/Lidl stollen supplies in the space of one month:o
This year I have thus far been a lot more disciplined - how long will that last I wonder?:D0
