In pound shops, you can get those 'magic' gloves which fit most hands Loads of basic toys like yo-yos, play jewelry sets pencil crayons with book, depending on what age group you have decided.
There's a Poundshop in a nearby town but I wasn't planning to visit this week and need to fill the shoebox this week. I might have to revise my plans though if I can't get what I need in Aldi.
I'm thinking sweets (not chocolate) and basic toiletries plus hat/gloves/scarf and toys/colouring books etc but this is what I'm not sure about as I've been in Aldi for over a month so no idea what recent specials have been. Hence asking here0 -

All the Lidl chocolate bar look-a-likes - Twix , Mars , Snickers etc are great and far cheaper0 -

I'd recommend the Cremant du Jura sparkling chardonnay. It's not cheap (I think £7.49) but it's delicious.0 -
Aldi - We like the Toronto Loco red wine. 3.69 a bottle and just as nice as something twice the price in tesco!0
