10am and I am dreaming of chips
I've used an Actifry for a few years now and I love the chips it makes. Flavour depends upon the type of oil you use. Sometimes I use olive oil or beef dripping but recently I've been using organic rapeseed oil which makes a lovely crispy chip with a soft centre when cooking Maris Pipers.
I no longer feel guilty when eating chips0 -

I use a cal counter app and they scanned the Aldi items as:
Tortilla chips - Waitrose (they do taste the same!)
Oats - Tesco (more than double the price)
If you're talking about the Fitpal app I've sometimes scanned the barcode of an Aldi product and it has come up with an entirely unrelated product so I think it's more an error in the app database than being indicative of other brands sharing a bar code.0 -
I too am a little obsessed with the mini stollen, just finished the pack I bought yesterday.
We are hosting on Boxing Day, so I shall be buying all the food products from Aldi. We're working out way through sampling what we will need - the frozen roast pots in duck fat are delicious, just as good as Aunt Bessies, although they need cooking a bit longer to go golden but flavour wise they are delicious.
I also bought a joint of beef the other week, on offer, and it was absolutely lovely and i'm not the best cook in the world!
Also, can't believe the good price on nappies - i've been buying them there since my little boy was born, he's now 15 months and I can get a whole pack of his size for £3.99 - good quality as well.0 -

Dont have the Aldi one . But I do have an Tefal actifry.
Homemade chips are excellent , and does really good sausages as well. Because of the rotation , everything gets evenly cooking , rather than getting burnt on one side.
I also use it when I get chips from the chippy. A quick 5 or 6 minutes warms them up and gives them a cripsy outer layer.0 -
I'm finding that Lidl's green washing up liquid is very poor. The Aldi equivalent one is much better. Both are surpassed by Fairy liquid, but this is since Fairy have improved the formulation.
I'm still hoping for Aldi's cloudy washing up liquid to come back. They were large bottles (not concentrate)amongst the regular ones , scented bamboo (green) and lavender (purple), if anyone sees them, shout at me!First they ignore you, then they ridicule you, then they fight you, and then you win - Gandhi0 -

Aren't all the sausages at Aldi "outdoor bred British pork"? A huge thumbs upFirst they ignore you, then they ridicule you, then they fight you, and then you win - Gandhi0 -
Out of curiousity, which app?
I only knew about the codes how you can find out the country or origin

tell us more about the app to find out the actual identical product?First they ignore you, then they ridicule you, then they fight you, and then you win - Gandhi0 -
Another great buy. Aldi dark chocolate digestives, much better than McVities and cheaper. Really good thick layer of chocolate on top. Will buy these again!
Also - I'm not sure I've seen anybody comment....what's Aldi passata like? I know they sell it but haven't tried it:money::rotfl::T0 -
