I think they have supply issues with all the frozen chips as there was a price rise a few weeks ago on all chips and now they have all disappeared from my store replaced with Aunt Bessies for £1.99 a bag!

This is truly awful, never again, it tastes so cheap and nasty
    You got the wrong one.

Watch out for the Cromwell small batch gin - very important as they have rebranded the cooking gin as Cromwell also.

This is not cheap, though, at around a tenner for a 1/2 bottle.
  • Normally im not bothered by brand, and have tried a range of products similar to Quorn; but this hands down is the worst. I can't describe it, but even.in a sauce it was inedible.I've yet to try the Meat free mince, which there is a bag of in my freezer!
GC Jan £101.91/£150 Feb £70.96/150 Mar £100.43/150 Apr £108.45 app/150 May £149.70/150 Jun £77.47/150 (includes food, toiletries and cleaning from 13th to 12th of each month. One person vegan household with occasional visitors)

It does surprise me how they can sell frozen chips cheaper than normal potatoes.

According to the review here http://www.wineontrial.co.uk/toro-loco-tempranillo-aldi/ it's a Tempranillo
  • As I only recently started living near an Aldi, is their Stollen good? I've been meaning to buy one but I don't know whether to grab it from Sainsbury or try Aldi.

No idea - but I would be interested to know why people always seem to approach Aldi/Lidl with such mistrust. No-one ever asks he question the other way round -
" Is the Sainsburys stollen any good.? I 've been meaning to buy one but dont kow whether to grab one from Sainsburys or Aldi"

And as everyones tastes are different the only way you are going to find out if YOU like the Aldi stollen is to buy one !
