Anyone finding the grapes are turning to mush pretty quick?

I buy Aldi grapes. DH likes them on his cereal with various other fruits. He finds they last longer (at least a week) keeping them in the fridge.:)

Mine are kept in the fridge. I buy them on Saturday but find that by Wednesday they are turning to mush.

Mine last at least that long, but I don't keep them in the fridge (it had never occurred to me to do so!).

  • I had some Aldi red grapes once, they were like small brown bullets. Asda and Sainburys grapes are far superior.

All grapes vary - they're not factory-produced! Aldi grapes (red, black and green) are much the same as grapes from any major supermarket. Except that they're about a third lower in price.

I was a bit disappointed with the new Aldi's cheese selection. No goat's cheese at all and much less variety on the continentals than Lidl. Some nice Scottish specialty cheeses (mainly cheddars) though to their credit.

Lidl Smoked Salmon with Pepper crust and Creamy Horseradish sauce.

    Deeeelicious. :)

Also enjoying Lidl "Linessa" 8 x Low fat yogurts - bargain at £1.08 (or close to).

Lidl Brazil Nuts on offer at £1.18.

Plenty of goats cheese in the Aldi I visited last Friday.

The red grapes are so sweet and juicy wish I'd bought more than one punnet now! And thanks to whoever recommended their SS chunky oven chips. I don't usually buy oven chips as prefer to make my own from real potato but thought I'd try some this week and they're not actually half bad!
