    Good:
Lidl Mibona Greek yoghurt - the best supermarket Greek yoghurt I have tried.
Aldi posh crisps - just as good as other brands
Aldi/Lidl cheddar - just as good as other supermarkets' in the same value bracket, but cheaper.
Lidl - fresh bread. Better than local Tesco, but often sold out.

    OK:
Aldi fresh bread - same quality as other supermarkets.

    Bad:
Aldi Greek yoghurt - appalling. Like emulsion paint. Not very Greek.
Aldi or Lidl (can't remember which) premium lemon curd - bitter. The regular stuff is nicer.
Aldi hot chocolate sachets - tastes weird and however carefully you make it it will have lumps.
Aldi Fruit & Nut chocolate - squidgy, more like soft centre, and the chocolate's not all that either.
Lidl or Aldi minced beef - has noticeable bits of bone in it.

    French cheeses -
I've just discovered Aldi's mini Camemberts, lovely!
Lidl has our staple cheeses on offer, the French specialty cheeses. I made myself choose 2 out of 3 because I don't want to leave a full fridge when going away ,lol.

You've been unlucky then as Lidl/Aldi mince for me is really good. I usually buy the cheaper stuff / drain off fat when cooking, dynamite.
    PK! :money:

Not had the beef mince very often, but the Aldi Pork and Turkey mince are always reliable.

Has anyone had issues with the supply of milk in Aldi recently? I bought a few things today and noticed the milk section with a handwritten note saying No milk delivery today.

Customers near me tutted not again....

No, as I've only just finished up the milk I bought a month ago. It was organic, dated 4th June but was still perfectly useable today :)

Not today, no, but milk's one of the very, very few things I still buy in the Tesco next to Aldi.

Aldi milk has a shortish date on it 6/7 days (as against Tesco and Lidl's 10/11 days) and you can't always find it in stock. I do wish they'd sort out their milk supplies - and their onion supplier.
