I've heard the wife swearing about the Aldi onions frequently!

Aldi do a lovely swede that screams. Google "screaming swede" it's brilliant. Never again will i peel, chop or boil swede.

I buy Aldi Pak Choi fairly often, and it's great.

Our local branch is still quite new (about a year) and I cannot knock the quality of their fruit and veg, maybe because it's the only branch on the Island where I live, so a high turnover of produce.

I now do exactly that. After years of boiling swede with indifferent results no matter how small I chopped it I'm converted. I'm sure my swede sings rather than screams though!:rotfl:

Which one is this? Is it the one with Pralines in? If so they spoilt it sticking those in....should have put fudge in it instead!

Aldi thin base vegetable pizzas for a bargain price of 85p!
Love the Chinese black bean sauce and the cheap own brand white chocolate bars (oooo plus the buttons!).

I love the amerretto - ok it's no disarrono but for £5/6 whatever the price is I'm not grumbling!

Plus look out for the bargain bins, the Aldi near me were selling off a whole load of socks for a £1. Managed to find a ladies 5 pack of cotton print socks!

Plus heard great things about aldi's prosecco, but have never been able to find it!
