personally - I wouldnt. Give it a couple of weeks to settle down before going. If you go in the first couple of days , your view of it will be tainted by overflowing car parks , long queues , stock problems etc etc

Just had the Sicilian salmon and spinach fish cakes from Aldi. Very tasty indeed and only £1.65 per twin pack. Bargain!

I too don`t get to Lidl often, but in there yesterday and bought a box of these on your reccomendation, delicious 125g in packet, will be looking out for them when in next time, have you ever frozen them ?.

I called in yesterday evening and bought the last 3 packs (2 for the freezer). Waitrose are currently selling them for £3.99 for 140g pack (crazy), it will be cheaper to buy a whole lobster from Aldi for £5.00.

Thinking of slightly different fish, my son loves the little savoury nibble/biscuit things & we got a huge plastic tub of mini-fish for him.

We actually went about 5 minutes too late to get one of the freebies....it was lovely to be in a brand new store, we'll never see the shelves stacked that neatly again, lol. Got mainly veg so nothing new to report here!

We have been fans of Aldi chocolate eclairs for years and always have a bag in the car. This week I noticed the sweet wrapper had changed colour and, sadly so has the recipe! The toffee is really sticky and chewy and gets stuck to my teeth. I don't like them at all now!
