This is a good price - £3.95 in Sainsbos and £3.50 in FF so next time I am passing through Asda :) . Bought a couple of refill bags before Christmas and have nearly got through them already!

  • 28 day matured fillet steak from Aldi in Hemel Hempstead (about £5 for the pack) totally inedible. In the packet the meat looked great, the flip side exposed huge amounts of gristle. By inedible, I mean really inedible - brisket would have been more tender.

I won't be buying steak from Aldi again .

That's unlucky. If you take it up with the store, they'll refund without question.

Our experiences have been uniformly excellent. Always far superior to Tesco (from which I will not now buy meat at all, because of the poor quality), and pretty much on a par with Waitrose.
  • Just interested to know if anyone has tried the Aldi version of Jaegerbomb drink and it is any good? Thanks

We tried the Aldi caramelised onion and vintage cheddar tart (£1.99) last night, will buy again as everyone enjoyed.

I tried the fair trade tea bags 99p after someone here recommended them, we usually only have tetley, but they make a nice cuppa so thank you.

Just seen my doctors wife going into Lidl as I was coming out. She looked so embarrassed.
