28 day matured fillet steak from Aldi in Hemel Hempstead (about £5 for the pack) totally inedible. In the packet the meat looked great, the flip side exposed huge amounts of gristle. By inedible, I mean really inedible - brisket would have been more tender.
I won't be buying steak from Aldi again .0 -

Our experiences have been uniformly excellent. Always far superior to Tesco (from which I will not now buy meat at all, because of the poor quality), and pretty much on a par with Waitrose.0 -
Just interested to know if anyone has tried the Aldi version of Jaegerbomb drink and it is any good? Thanks0

That's unlucky. If you take it up with the store, they'll refund without question.

We tried the Aldi caramelised onion and vintage cheddar tart (£1.99) last night, will buy again as everyone enjoyed.
I tried the fair trade tea bags 99p after someone here recommended them, we usually only have tetley, but they make a nice cuppa so thank you.0 -
